Freddie sees their chance banish as Emily joins the fight, giving this littler girl kick up Belinda's shin. He struggles, face red, awkward. Her skirt is slipping up and just knows he really really wants to look, but really really shouldn't.
He pushes her away as she struggles and backs away between her and Emily. "Enough! Just tell us what's in the cases!"

Outside Lily's House (Zach)
Zach stumbles away from Lily's place. He's still feeling sick and like he might throw up any second. That bath that Lily and Wendy suggested seems like a great idea, but he can't go back there. Not after what Lily did. He only notices he's crying when he takes out his phone and can't make out the screen through the tears in his eyes. He wipes them, trying not to push any alien-vomit into his eyes in the process. Then, once he can see again, he sends out three text messages:
To Rose: Zach: I'm sorry about what happened. I just want my sister back. Can we talk?
To Fred: Zach: Are you and Emily okay? Lily let Rose go. They'll all be hunting for us now. Where are you?
To Aaron: Zach: I need help. Your mom's a nurse right? And I need you
Zach stumbles away from Lily's place. He's still feeling sick and like he might throw up any second. That bath that Lily and Wendy suggested seems like a great idea, but he can't go back there. "Yeah, byyye!" the chimes with a sweet veneer. "You’re welcome for saving your life, by the way!" and then she closes the door before the boy can comment further.
Then she lets out a sigh, and locks the door after her.
"It’s always something with him. What was I…?" she stops up short, and tries to shake the whole thing off. She looks to Wendy, spattered as she was with Rose-goo.
"Come on." she whispers, taking Wendy by the handing and mounting the bottom step on the stairs.
"Let’s get that stuff off of you. Forget about that asshole!"
Then she lets out a sigh, and locks the door after her.
"It’s always something with him. What was I…?" she stops up short, and tries to shake the whole thing off. She looks to Wendy, spattered as she was with Rose-goo.
"Come on." she whispers, taking Wendy by the handing and mounting the bottom step on the stairs.

Emily hears Freddie's shout and snaps out of her rage, panting, and angry. But she stands still, composes herself, and then announces, "I'm taking the cases."
Rapidly walking toward them, clearly intending to take them, she glares back at Freddie's stepmom. "I'll find out soon enough Belinda and your secret will be out!"

It takes a moment, but two texts come back as Zach stumbles along the sidewalk.
Aaron: Hey! What's up! I've been thinking about you. I'll come, where are you? Are you hurt?!
Then...
Rose: I know it's hard for you to understand. It's really easiest if you just join us. Where are you now? Come to the school and I'll make everything okay.

The Woods on the Other Side of the Banks (Fred and Emily)
Belinda fights free, then quickly gets to her feet -- in time to see Emily grabbing the two cases. Rage contorts the attractive blonde's features as she yells. "Put those down, you little bitch! Right now! RIGHT NOW!"
Fred has tried to position himself between them, but he's not able to intercept his stepmom when she makes a sudden run for Emily. She has to run around the boy, but she swings wildly at the girl when she gets within arm's reach -- and connects with a haymaker that drops the teen like a ton of bricks!
Unfortunately for the MILF, the blow also makes Emily drop the cases, and they land hard, going tumbling. Fred hears... screaming? Coming from those cases as Belinda falls to her knees near them, screaming.
"Noooooo!"
After spending the Benny, the damage was 12, which is two raises worth vs. Emily's Toughness of 4. That means she is Shaken and now has two Wounds! That's -2 on all Trait rolls, including trying to recover from being shaken on your next turn, Emily.
Fred -- your turn.

Zach continues to walk away from Lily's house and finds a nearby store he can use to describe his location. He reads the messages. Not-Rose' isn't much of a surprise but there is a warm feeling in his chest, despite everything else going on right now, when he reads Aaron's message. He types out two replies.
To Rose:Zach: I can't. But there must be something I can do to get Rose back. A trade? Something you all need?
He doesn't really believe that they can make a deal, but it can't hurt to at least be in contact with Not-Rose. Maybe he'll have another idea for how to get to her at some point. For now, he's just stalling. Next, he sends Aaron the location of where he is and adds,

Fred sees Belinda brutally punch Emily, and he knows it's all going wrong. She's crazy strong, for some reason. Is it the parasite? How do they get it out? His burgeoning relationship with Emily overwhelms whatever he feels for slug woman.
He rushes forward and grabs a case, then slams it into Belinda's chest sideways so it hits her flat and sends her flying.

Blumpf! Emily feels the air rush out of her chest as the possessed stepmom whacks her a good one. The cases fly from her grip and she falls to the ground with the strange and terrifying sound of squeals in the background. Squeals that sounded like they were coming from the wiggly things in the cases she had been holding. Her brain screams at her that something is not right. But she hurts from that ridiculously strong punch Belinda threw at her and she's unable to move which further exacerbates her terror.

Aaron: Oh no! I’m on my way, don’t do anything crazy! I’ll look after you
Aaron: my mom is working tonight. I can take you to the hospital
Aaron: hold tight, I know where that qwiktrip is and will be there soon!
Rose’s text takes longer to arrive.
Rose: Yes. We can talk about a trade. Get your friends. Come to the front of the school. We will trade one for one. Do not call the police or you know what can happen. These bodies are fragile.

Lily leads Wendy up the stairs by the hand, tip-toeing up and beyond her parents bedroom door. Wendy had been her friend long enough to know which of the squeaky steps to skip on the way up.
She goes into the bathroom and feels the heat of the water on her face already. Once Wendy is inside, she closes the door and locks it. The heat has her pulling away her cardigan and placing it in a bundle on the closed toilet lid.
"Come on!" she whispers to Wendy, kneeling down at the side of the bath. "Put your hands in the water!" she says, pulling on the hem of Wendy’s top to get her to kneel alongside her. Lily dips a finger into the water to make sure it isn’t scalding hot, before putting her hand out for Wendy to take.
"Where did it get you?" she asks quietly, looking to inspect the damage!

"Ack, Freddie, you let them out!" Emily hurriedly gets up off the ground, lunges for a case, and starts smashing the slugs. Belinda seems to be out of the picture for the moment.
But a thought screams at her. She should whack Belinda in the face before she comes too. She seems to be somehow communicating with the vile things.

As Emily grabs the case and continues to fight, this time viciously attacking Belinda, Fred is torn. While Belinda blocks the blow, Fred can't help but think that this had gone completely off the rails. Anger flashes and he wants to push Emily away: this was his stepmom, the last part for his horribly abused sisters.
But he'd opened that door, trying to knock Belinda aside with the same case.
He decides to go to let the girls get their snacks in and go to town on the slugs.
