Unfortunately, there's no chance to celebrate, to realize just what they've accomplished, or to even see the one lonesome, wounded slime-creature hiding in a dark corner before the door finally bursts open. Akins is there, he has a shotgun, and he looks furious. Several other slugified teachers and adults are with him, but they are clearly harried -- wounded, exhausted, under duress. They all spill into the room, bringing with them a mob of angry townsfolk, teens, and... others.
Bats and knives, crowbars and hockey gloves, guns and teeth and bare knuckles -- it's a brawl to the bitter end! On one side, Levitt and Romero, the Coach, creepy Mister Edge, eyeballing and smiling at Emily... Polenksy, Romanov and the Sheriff. On the other, Clutch, Dave, Noah and Banks... injured Officer Bentley, Wendy, Justin, Priya, Fred's sisters... even the two goons the group had hospitalized. And -- is that? It is! Steve!
Who is leading the Fight here? One person will roll, at +3 because of all the allies you have, and with any support the other PCs can generate with various actions. What are your approaches and rolls for that support? The leader needs to go last, but otherwise feel free to narrate and get after it.
Final Results: On a Critical Failure, we'll randomly determine 2d6 characters who don't survive the fight -- PCs and NPCs are in the crosshairs. The good guys win in the end, but it's a bloody mess, basically. On a regular Failure, you win but 1d6 friendly NPCs don't make it. On a Success, you win but 1d6 slugged adults won't be getting up... on a Raise, you win, everyone lives, and there's a big goddamned party!
