Zach isn't quite sure how it happened. One moment they were driving, hands touching, eyes meeting as often as the road allowed it. And then they're parked and Zach is suddenly free of his seat belt, shifted over to the driver's side, awkwardly half-sitting in Aaron's lap as their lips touch, their tongues intertwine and Zach's hand runs through Aaron's dark hair. It feels incredible, all those pent up emotions and hormones bubbling to the surface as they kiss, hidden in the shadows of the truck parking lot.
It does turn out that Aaron's glasses do get a bit in the way, so, as much as Zach likes them, he reaches for them and carefully takes them off before his lips meet Aaron's for the second time.
Unable to shut his mind off completely and just live in the moment, Zach worries that, this being his first ever kiss, he might be terrible at it. Aaron doesn't seem to mind, or if he does, he doesn't show it, but it keeps Zach grounded enough in the moment that when he feels Aaron's hands starting to roam, he knows to not let himself get lost in the touches.
He lets Aaron explore his body a bit but every time one of the boy's hands slides underneath his hoodie or gets too close to his chest, Zach gently guides it away and back to a safer area.
Eventually, he pulls back from the kiss, his face hovering just centimeters away from Aaron's, close enough to still feel the boy's warm breath on his lips. He locks eyes with Aaron and once again runs his hand through the boy's hair as he only barely resists the temptation to close the distance again immediately.
"I wish we could go further," he breathes.
"But we can't. I can't. I..." He breaks off, then leans in, kissing Aaron's lips again, but gentler, less passionately this time.
