Ok, Christopher is dragged through the hole in the wall and into the corridor where the natural light is streaming. He hears shouts in Arabic from outside.

Arthur will help Dardan pulling Christopher through the hole and propping him up to get him near the natural light, pulling up his neckerchief against the dust.
"We will shoot you, you traitors!" he shouts towards the Arabic voices to intimidate them as he approaches the exit. "We have guns, you dogs!"

Baz let’s go of the lid knowing it won’t move by muscle alone… leverage man, get some leverage in here. He looks about and draws his hunting knife. This will pop the lid and maybe something to pry with.He dashes to the piles of wood and quietly seeks out a sturdier timber if one can be gleaned.

It doesn't take long for Baz to get the lid off revealing five canopic jars each carved from limestone. Four are topped with an animal head, a falcon, a crocodile, an ibis and a wolf. The fifth has a carved inverted ankh jutting up from its lid.
