Flames leap from the toymaking wizards hand, engulfing the giant in flames. Jurgrindor drops to his knees stamping it out. When the flames are no more he attempts to stand, quivering before he collapses, wheezing "Handrindor verzeihen Sie mir"

There is a brief pause to take stock and rue. The kitchen is a mess, there are about a dozen downed guards and adventures in the main room, pantry, and washroom. Of living their remains three adventures, one guard, and Jurgrindor. The invisibility fades from Betryaius, revealing he is quite dead and beaten.
The three adventures were Harrim who was restrained, and Valerie & Amiri who were unconscious/dying. Harrim and Linzi use their last healing spells to bring them to consciousness.
Scanning the bodies there are odd coin purses, jewelry, weapons, and bling that could be taken. Of note is a blood soaked coyote cloak. Oddly, Betrayius and Jurgrindor seem absent of items or anything that would identify them.

The entrance is to the main hall is barred from the other side. The guards on the other side are hesitant to open the door and demand proof that this is not another trick.

Octavius will fetch his crossbow and move to a covered position away from the east wing door.
"Friends, I am quite poorly and would rather not take the front line. I have plenty of darts and bolts and can make their lives short from here, if someone will take the fore."
He will then lay his crossbow in easy reach and draw two of his darts for throwing.
