Snare can be crafted within 1 minute of crafting, the downside is they are expensive. They follow different crafting rules .... more like deploying than crafting.

I rolled a 23 on arcana since thats what the spell description said to do (or occultism) Also no snares today. Crafting takes 4 days. Stupid rules.

Chapter 1: Into the Stolen Lands

The heroes have a busy preparing for an ambush. A wagon has been placed near the gate that can be easily rolled to block the entrance. Silene has successful drawn a spirit of air into a small hand mirror. Filbert says his name is pip. Oleg has placed this on the roof of the main house, which should give full coverage for people entering the fort. Oleg has managed to fixed the hole in the roof, so everyone has a restful sleep.

Early the next morning Sparky spots horse riders on the horizon.

I think I was accidentally looking at the old rules for the feat (stupid rules change the app hasnt updated the feat). You only choose the archetype with the 2nd level of the feat though I thought.

While preparing for the Ambush(TM) Dalia's crossbow misfires, placing a crossbow bolt in a suspicion position. Oleg sees it and pulls it out of the wall.

I'll set a hampering snare on the path between the guest house and the wall and a spike snare just in front of the storage. I will hide behind the storage on the house side and have Filbert hiding so he can move to me easily I one turn, but covers the most ground with his tremorsense while hiding and can tell us where they are without seeing them. Maybe by the picnic tables or edge of the main house?

Octavius has a concern about his NPC companions. Where will Linzi be most helpful? I would like to have Valerie hidden to the right of the Guest House, near the outer wall, whereas I would be between the Stables and outer wall, ready to act as a pincer movement.

Does Valerie have any ranged weapons? I have darts to spare.

Did we manage to bring down or block any of the ladders up to the walkways?

Valerie is equip with a shortbow

Linzi will be up on the walkways, south of the guest house. She will cast sleep on anyone trying to run. Also small and less noticeable.

Harrim will be near Silene behind the storage.

Jeathal will hide near the main house with Dalia.

Ralf @Avindale do you want to be on the walkway? Hide behind a Ballista

Ladders can be removed and bound.
