Dalia opens the door to an enraged Leshy. Moving with uncharacteristic purpose, Filbert dashes into the room. Checking the windows Filbert circles until he reaches Silene and suddenly calming. "Oh, why am I here? Did you call me? Where are the snacks"

Dalia runs to the storeroom, which partly has been converted to a makeshift holding cell. The bandit leader remains chained to her cot, waking to glare bitterly at Dalia.

"No. No. I just heard a noise and decided to see if our new friend was resting comfortably and secure in her bed, she is after all our guest for the time being."
Turning towards the door to leave Dalia pauses and turns back to Kessel.
" I do apologize for disturbing your slumber, my dear. Please relax and sleep well. I do hope you have pleasant dreams and perhaps we can have a nice chat in the morning. "
Before heading off to her own room once more.

I will take Filbert for a walk around the fort to see if we can figure out what bothered him. The dream/vision bothered me anyway so I need to be outside. We will start by going around the walls, then go around all the buildings.

You awake the next day after returning to sleep. Sleeping in to late morning you find the Levetons have made a hardy breakfast and have heavy questions on their mind.
Oleg is the first to break the silence "So, the bandits deal with, yes? The thorn river punks at least, what are your plans for the Stag Lord?"
"Let them finish breakfast at least" Svetlana interjects
"This is important, the bandits could retaliate any day now" Oleg says nervously
"That is not how they work, they are not that organized. We have time and our heros will be around. Right?" Svetlana says calmly

Octavius will reply that the fortifications here must be brought to repair, if not improved. The gate must open and close securely and the siege engines must be made reliable, with bolts in quantity for each. We will have some time, but not enough, I fear. Depending on how much we have wounded the Stag Lord's pride by defying him. I doubt he cares much for the defeat of those brigands, but I suspect it will not be about lives lost as an affront in bringing down any aspect of his realm.

I'll tell everyone about my dream vision thingy.
We definitely need to reinforce the fort here so it can very easily defended before bpwe head out to defeat the stag lord. I think with some work I may be able to make some connections to the nymph or other nature spirit's to help guide us. He is hurting their forest so they want him gone. We shouldn't delay long.

Oleg responds defensively "We are lucky the post is a defended as it is. This is a old abandon Brevoy fort. It is not like nations are known give up such things. I did my best to repair it as I could, but we are two lone traders"
"Perhaps you should have stole an fortress from the old dwarven trade route?" Harrim responds with a monotone tone "We will need parts to properly repair the gate or ballista"
Cutting Oleg off Svetlana replies "Hunters have reports such places, but they are too deep in the forest to be useful. Oh, they also tell tales of a great tree and a lost 'elk' temple. Maybe there more fey in these places to aid. Get them being helpful for once"

Perhaps we should take a day or so to resupply and do what we can to reinforce the fort here. Then leave the more construction minded of our party to continue repairs while we head out to strike at the bandits before they can organize.
