2.1 Chapter 1: Into the Stolen Lands

"I do know where he can find a halfling head if we don't want to fight Gromag. We should decide quickly. I think we can take him, but only as a group."

Dalia quickly picks the corpse that looks most like a halfling,
and wraps a piece of colorful fabric around their neck like a scarf, and one in a pocket, before grabbing the fake bards arms and pulling them out to Gromag.

"Ha here you go my valiant warrior, your snack, I apologize for being unable to remove the head. Quickly now I need you to retreat back to the hideout, so that I might continue to play my part. Unfortunately for me your presence, will be hard to explain in the story I must weave to further our goals. Go quickly and I will return as soon as possible."

"Filbert should go help sniff him out for us and we will surround him. Betrayius needs to be dealt with." And I cast spout where he most likely is based on his last location, rustling bushes, etc. To try and dampen him and make him more visible as soon as Filbert finds him.

Gromag pouches on the body, knocking Dalia aside.

"ha ha ha, I eat your eyes" Gromag shouts cheerfully before gruesomely crunching into bodies head. "You strong leader. Get this on shire as tribute to you. Then heal!"

Gromag fumbles over to the pile of body. A moment later he screams "Who mess my shrine! Ok. Gromag fix. How many in pile 1, 2, oh me remember this, good bite, um where was I. 4, 5 ..

A small colourful halfling leaves the room and looks at Dalia wiggling her hands.

A silent message enters Dalia’s head. "We need to go"

Linzi arrives just in time to see a shimmering shape get tossed around with sprouting water. You see where Betrayius is clearly, even hear a faint gasp.

Tassle hears the faint echo "Ha ha ha, you dare defy Di Ceroller!". A sound outside her hearing range or a foreign thought in her head, she does not know.

A distant blast shakes the manor knocking over a chair in the library. The building moans, and Gromag looks up from his shine of death briefly.

"The main hall is this way" Linzi whispers pointing frightfully west.

"Perhaps we should head to the main hall to group up with anyone else who wants to fight the Black Tears."

And loot. Lets do some looting

Dalia will quietly follow the halfling back to the main hall.

I'll grab Betrayius and drag him along with us to the main hall (assuming he's unconscious). And if he's not unconscious yet, let's make him that way and then drag him to the main hall.

Tassle grabs a stick and starts poking at betrayius as the most fun way to determine consciousness. Poke poke poke!
