The flayed corpse which appears with the players is simply a bound demon of pain. The Redemption Spire is located in the desert near Forlucia, so the danger is heat.

The raiders waiting outside are simply Bandits, only put in a number equal to the number of players (or split them in two waves).

A Snake, see p.77? perhaps they are looking for something imbued with an air elemental to temporarily fly the ship to the nearest body of water?)

Narvas is actually a Wayfarer.
The players can find 3d20 gp (?)
Collection of weapons? (roll 2d2? Then roll 1d6 for each? 1: dagger, 2: club, 3: mace, 4: spear, 5: sword, 6: flail?)
