Jimmy hears an indistinct thumping coming from somewhere further into the complex.

Jimmy continues sneaking to the nearest building and moves around to try the door.

Jimmy makes his way to the small shed, he opens the door to find multiple barrels stacked neatly inside. Each has a simple burned letter label that says simply ‘Whiskey’.

As Jimmy approaches the yard, he sees a tractor parked next to the building he knows is the garage. He also hears the thumping more clearly and it appears to be coming from the main farmhouse.

Jimmy pulls out a spare shirt from his bag and uses his survival knife to cut it into haphazard strips. He pulls one of the whiskey bottles free of the crates and drenches the strips of cloth with the liquid before removing five more bottles, opening them, and shoving the strips of cloth halfway down the neck of the bottles. He places his bag back over his shoulder and carries four of the bottles and the guns out to the grass across the path.

He leaves everything but one of the tommy guns and quietly heads back to the storage shed. He sets the final bottle atop a crate in the shed, pulls out his waterproof matches and strikes the flame, lighting the cloth sticking free of the single bottle before running back to where he stored the other items.

The fire hungrily consumes the soaked strip of cloth and eats its way into the bottle of whiskey. The bottle stays alight similar to a makeshift oil lamp.

Just as Jimmy is beginning to feel like he needs to rethink his impromptu bomb a wave of heat and sound crash over him as the shed goes up in a massive explosion. Splinters of wood and debris go flying in every direction and what is left is a roaring inferno.

Mickey and Lenny hear the explosion, not far from where they currently stand. Mickey takes off at a sprint toward the sound, seeming un phased.

In short order, four men come running out of the main farmhouse, wearing pajamas and carrying weapons. One man in particular stops and looks aghast before he begins yelling at the others to get buckets from the channel.

Mic... Lenny says the sound dying on his lips.

He clearly doesn't remember that Lenny is injured, or not anymore, if Mickey had been the one Injured Lenny would've told him to leave but he won't leave Mickey on his own to fight whatever this is, so he works the quickest hobble he can after his brother.
If Mickey dies he'll sure as hell make sure everything goes down with him.

Jimmy takes up both tommy guns yet again, standing from a kneeling position in the grass he takes a step forward and without any warning or notice begins to open fire on the men.

Epic! So dual wielding puts a penalty on every shot. Firing multiple shots puts a penalty on every shot after the first. That would mean your first two shots would be at a single penalty and then every additional shot is at two penalty dice. I can’t find anywhere that says how many shots a round the Thompson can do, maybe we’ll just say 6 is the max? It looks like there are 20 bullets in a magazine.

@KoldikSteelskin I’m, sorry. Sometimes I get lost in characters and don’t play the game. Following is Mickey’s First Aid to potentially get you some HP back.

Jimmy drops one of the two guns at his feet -easier than reloading. He pulls the other up into both hands and unleashes hell.

Six shots it is, the latter five each with one penalty die. iirc you want 1d100 for penalty dice, so I'll do that.

I'll spend 2 luck to let the first one hit. Not sure on damage - please roll damage for expediency, then I'll know for future.

Jimmy opens fire on the men as they scramble for buckets, taking them by surprise.

One of Jimmy’s bullets hits the man who was directing the others in the shoulder, spinning him around, but he keeps his feet. As Jimmy lets the automatic weapon fire, it stalls and clicks. The telltale sign of a jam.

The Carmody leader overcomes his shock, running for the corner of the stables to put the structure between himself and Jimmy. He raises his rifle to fire back at Jimmy.

His three gang members lose their minds in the hailstorm of bullets, one of them runs back into the farm house, one runs for the metal grain silo and one drops his weapon and lays down on the ground in a fetal position grabbing his ears.

The leader tries to line up a shot on Jimmy but his bullet flies wild.

Jimmy drops the tommy gun, seeing his skills failing him in that regard, and draws his revolver. He's always been better with it than the bigger stuff. He fans the hammer, firing at the one lining up shots against him. He rushes back slides into the grass near the homebrewed molotovs.

Jimmy shoots at the Carmody gang leader and his bullets hit the side of the stables. Jimmy hears the horses inside whinny in a loud clamor. Brendan Carmody shouts out, Get it together you idiots! There's only one of him and four of us. Jacobs, Squirt, head round the barn to flush him out. Miller... get your ass over here and be ready to shoot him when he runs!

Jimmy sees Mickey break through the surrounding corn into the grassy field that surrounds the Carmody farm. The gunshots and shouts keyed the man into what was happening, and Mickey began a slow stalk to get to the leader without the man seeing.

By the time Lenny Reaches the edge of the field the hand holding the gun has finally stopped shaking, he takes one quick look around before aiming the gun, there's horses here, and maybe he's getting his hopes up but it looks like there might be a car, or at least a tractor.

Lenny Moves Slowly Still slightly limping despite the splint on his leg, towards where he hopes he will find vehicles, aiming the revolver the one he'd never had the guts to get rid of at the closest Carmody, praying that he hits and pulls the trigger over and over and over as fast as the stupid thing will fire.

I’m going to assume Lenny shoots L5 as the others would all have cover.

Lenny’s first shot hits the gang member making his away around the back of the farmhouse, the man stumbles and clutches his stomach as Lenny’s second bullet hits the man’s shoulder and spins him. Lenny goes to fire a third time and his gun jams. Lenny takes off at a sprint coming next to the barn where Jimmy is taking cover.

The man Lenny was firing at slumps to the ground anyway, his wounds overtaking him.

"Lenny," Jimmy says with a smile. "It's good to see you. Where are Manny and your brother? Can you use this better than I can?" he nudges the unjammed tommy gun with his foot then nudges his head to the east. "Gonna see if I can get an angle on them. We need to destroy this hootch." He hustles around the eastern side of the distillery and holds position - too far away to get a decent shot off.

Mickey moves up silently around the horse fence and takes aim at the Carmody leader. The bullet grazes Brendan’s cheek, but causes him to stumble out into the yard, right in view of Jimmy. The man turns and levels his rifle at Mickey. Mickey tries to dodge, but the bullet takes him in the thigh. Everyone hears the thud of a bullet impacting deep in flesh.

A scream issues from the farmhouse.

He looks around, before realizing his brother didn't follow him, of course he didn't, the sound of gunfire and a yell. "Over there."

"Vehicle in Garage? To Get Away.

He says looking to Jimmy for an Answer as he works on the Tommy's Gun, trying to calm himself as they move, he'd fixed gins before, lots of times, it usually was something simple a gunpowder buildup, a bullet that had git itself stuck, or the like.

Jimmy’s bullet hits the Carmody leader square in the back and the man spins and drops to the ground his rifle falling beside him.

The last visible gangster cries out and stares in disbelief as the gang leader falls. The screams coming from the farm house abruptly end in a strange, wet, sickly sound. An eery silence settles over the farm in the early morning hour before, like a stone dropping in a pond, ripples of movement flutter through the grass and surrounding corn. The vegetation seems to rattle and shake violently in patterns and waves emitting from the farmhouse.

Mickey blinks and looks on in disbelief at the waves of movement of the surrounding vegetation. His eyes settle on the remaining gang member and focus takes his features as the killer in him takes over. He runs to the Carmody leader and turns the man’s rifle on the other man.

The bullet takes the man in the head and he falls in a heap.

Lenny opens the main door of the garage to find an old delivery truck and a model T that sits with the hood up. Surrounding the two vehicles are benches with various tools and bits for repairing automobiles.

Mickey begins to make his way across the yard as a yell emits from the farmhouse. ABIGAIL!!! I’m… I’m coming for you darling…. A man shambles out of the farmhouse into the new morning light. Chains and ropes seem to be trailing behind him. He is wearing a ragged cotton shirt that might have once been white, but now is stained with mud, grass stains and black splotches. His walk is disjointed as something appears to be wrong with his left leg. His hair is long, gray and wispy and seems to be caked at parts with something. The man looks up at Mickey and you all see that one of his bright blue eyes focuses sharply while the other appears to be milky white and dead. Part of his cheek appears to be eaten away, pock marks deeply penetrating his dirty face.

Even with all the dirt and deformity, Lenny recognizes the man. Professor Henry Rhoades.

Jimmy picks up another of his makeshift molotovs and gathers their things to move them away. Once at a safe distance he approaches the distillary - "I'm blowing this thing!" he calls to Lenny. He swings open the distillery door, lights the molotov, and throws it inside.

Professor Rhoades blinks several times, shaking his head. He looks at Lenny and his brow furrows. I suppose its because people thought it more important? Lenny? What are you... The professor turns abruptly, looking to the west and listening.

Presently, the man turns and regards the body of Brendan Carmody laying on the ground as Jimmy begins to move up to it. Professor Rhoades snarls and the ropes that seemed to be trailing behind the man come alive, appearing to be roots or tentacles. They wave frantically in a fury and lash out to grab Brendan's corpse. Abruptly, the man's body is torn limb from limb in a bloody spray of gore and violence.

Professor Rhoades' face is partly covered in gore as he returns his gaze to Lenny. Some things deserve to stay buried, Lenny... Oh, Abigail... The man slumps to his knees and weeps.

Jimmy is sprayed by a wave of blood and gore as the body is ripped apart a short distance ahead of him. He stands motionless for a moment, regarding the professor. "That...was unfortunate. What is it you want, Professor? Who is Abigail? These men had been keeping you here, as a captive? We helped get rid of them, then. We're on the same side. Maybe we can help." Did Jimmy want to help this man - creature? - no, not really, but he wanted to destroy this place, rip it up by the roots, and maybe that's what the Professor wanted too.

The professor walks over to one of the killed Carmody gang and picks up a pistol.

Rhodes has changed yet he's still the same Rhodes he once knew, he'd been ready to kill Jimmy if he had to but Rhodes that was unexpected and he still wasn't sure he was ready.

The professor casts his gaze to the ground. In the building morning light, you can see that the back portion of his head and back have thick roots and mushrooms that seem to be undulating and swaying of their own impulse. The man's eyes droop with an exhaustion before he blinks and looks back up at Jimmy. I... I tried... They took me... Rhoades' eyes take on a lucidity as he says in a rush. At my camp. Dynamite... A whole box of it. I was going to blow it all to hell... But... I... can't. The roots and mushrooms begin to flail violently like a rattlesnake shaking its warning sign. Rhoades raises his hands to his head squeezing the side of the pistol into his temple and furrowing his brow. He bares his teeth in anguish and determination as he snaps his eyes open and says in a rush to Lenny, his voice losing the two toned effect. Lenny, please... Kill her. Do what I couldn't. Rhoades repositions the pistol to his temple and fires. The echo of the gunshot rings out over the farm and all retreats into an eerie silence.

Jimmy takes a step forward and holds his hand toward the man by reflex as he realizes what the Professor is about to do, but the gesture if futile. Once done, Jimmy looks to Lenny. "What do you think, Lenny? I'm happy enough we burned the hooch - no more of this stuff will be coming outta this place, not for a long while at least. We can finish what the prof wanted, or...we find a car and get the hell out of here while we have a chance. Stop, get the money, and get the fuck out."

Manny Ziegler, or at least the thing that was once known as Manny Ziegler stepped out of the surrounding corn field and made his way through the yard toward the dead Professor Rhoades. The front of Manny’s once fine suit was covered in dried blood and he calmly gripped his lapels as he giggled from his multiple mouths. When the group looks at him, he placating held up his hands in a non threatening manner. In reaching Rhoades body, Manny dips his forefinger into the blown out portion of the professors skull and raises it to his lips giving a slurp as if tasting a fine vintage. Well done, boys. Truly well done. I can see you’ve taken care of your side of the bargain and I’ve… dealt with the townsfolk. That about wraps things up, I’d say. As you know… SHE… wants me to take you to her. But I could care less… I’m her only outlet now… And those who control the ins and outs is TRULY in control. Still… if you want to meet her, I can take you to her. That was also part of our agreement. Jimmy! So nice to see you again! Manny’s bulbous eye bounces and sways as he talks and occasionally a belch issues from one of his mouths.
