I'll give you a day or two to interact with each other before moving the story forward. Blacklight can form shadow portals, which is why she proposed to gather somewhere so she can teleport you all together. But if you have another clever way of getting to the island quickly on your own, feel free to narrate it on the main thread.

I have "_____________________ knew you from your civilian life first"' and "You refused to tell ___________________ your secret identity when they asked." I think blacklight still has one influence from me because she's the leader. For me the influence is from 'You look up to your teammates; they seem to have this superhero thing figured out.'

'Pierce the mask' is when you're trying to read a specific person. What you're looking for is the 'assess the situation' move.

Hmm, well Blacklight would be split on which question to ask but given she feels responsible for the leadership of things I guess I'll go with the more leaderly of the two.

Martinez indicated that many prisoners are loose, but that seems more like a distraction while the assailants are heading to the supers underground prison. Stopping them before they get there is probably the prudent thing to do. The other prisoners don't have superpowers, so they will be easier to handle (though the hostages complicate matters greatly). You might want to consider splitting up, if you're feeling confident enough.

I split up the threads - Mimic and Wrecker on the main one, trying to stop the supervillans, and a second one for saving the hostages (Black Light and Blue Reaper)

I figured THE DARK should have some kind of catch phrase and didn't want to steal the traditional ones of

Who knows what darkness lurks in the hearts of men; the shadow knows
or
Are you afraid of the dark?
or
I am the terror that flaps in the night!
etc...

If anyone has a cooler catch phrase please let me know.

How about:
• 'When you stray from the Light, expect The Dark'

• 'Mankind's most primal fear is of...The Dark!'

You can always spend a Team to shift your label and turn the roll into a success. Or Blacklight could spend one.
I'm going to start your team pool at 4, btw (3 initial, +1 from Blacklights defend Move).

I will elect to spend a Team and shift my labels Danger up (0 to +1) and Mundane down (+1 to 0). I'm making those changes now.

I will elect to "impress, surprise, or frighten the opposition". Preferably frighten.

Does the Rival/Love in Bull's Heart have to be on the Team?

At any rate, Ronnie needs those two positions filled.

The default is that every relationship on your playbook is someone from the team. But it doesn't have to be romantic Love.

Following that, you will need to decide how to help the rest of the hostages.

The more appropriate move would be 'directly engage a threat'. You're using your powers to make them capitulate, not trying to provoke them to do something with your words (which they aren't really susceptible to).

You still scored a hit. You can choose to inflict a condition ('afraid' seems most fitting), plus one of the options for the move.
Picking 'impress, surprise, or frighten the opposition' will end the fight, but it would leave you hurt from the exchange of blows.
