@Greel; What do you hope to achieve with your 'Unleash Your Powers' Move? If you're trying to scare the convicts, that would be a 'Directly Engage a Threat', rather than an Unleash. Or you could use the 'Unleash' to do something crazy with your powers, like trying to teleport out of the cell with all the hostages?

Hey sorry. I figured out what happened. I was posting while busy and did not remember what your suggestion said properly. I have corrected my post to Directly engage a Threat with the intention of taking down the bad guys and using the "impress, surprise, or frighten the opposition" option as you suggested.

I want to give Mimic and Wrecker the opportunity to make a Move. If they won't make use of it you can rejoin the main thread.

Reaper avoided his blows, otherwise I would have told you to mark a condition.
The danger results from the effects of the Villain's own Move, which impacts everyone in the scene.

@MEGalodon - did you intend to make your own Defend Move, or try to assist Wrecker using Team?
@witchdoctor - even if Mimic does spend Team, you will have to do so as well and shift your labels if you want to get a hit on the roll.

Your initial Team pool started at 4. You used 1, and now potentially another 2 to save the NPCs.
@witchdoctor - let me know if you want to spend that Team as well and shift your Savior label to score a hit on your Defend Move.

Well, that actually went better than I was expecting it to with my initial danger-2 as a roll. But I figured all the cerebral approaches were flat out well... out given Blacklights got the angry condition so... direct attempt to beat him up activated! And then miraculously it's NOT failing horribly.

Yet...

You know, temporarily restrained or not (and yes I totally expected a mere temporary situation there) this feels far worse than pretty much any other outcome :) "You wouldn't like me when I'm angry" as a quote comes to mind. The helicopter is another great choice of target because really it's probably one of the hardest things for Blacklight to affect with her shadows. This is certainly working out to be a quite dramatic showdown.

Does your teleportation have any visible affect on the world around you? ie light flashes, fairy lights, tinkling sounds etc? just checking for descriptive purposes.

I wasn't picturing anything to fancy. Maybe just a warping of space around them. Like pushing into an elastic barrier before popping through.
