You have the car, the motorbike and the two bikes Eva and Selena came in on! Big John’s car would have been really useful, yes!

How to move?

Like a pack mule. Why not follow the river and have the boat as an additional option?
Follow the river on foot? Unfortunately, the road doesn't parallel the river -- crosses it, runs perpendicular to it.

My vote isn't firm, btw. Unfortunately, there's no good option here. Such is life in a zombie apocalypse! We'll just have to make due one way or the other.

There we go. Voting IC. One vote for the road!

We can always have two divergent threads with the intention of meeting up at a pre-determined point. Havoc Hunting or what have you!

Not to muddy the waters further!

To be honest, if/when time isn’t a factor, it sounds like a great idea for a run. Head out and rustle up a bigger vehicle. Either a second one, or just a bigger one.

Maybe you can kill two birds with one stone sometime!

Agree, especially if we go by water... we will need to find more vehicles!

Do we know for sure that the boat can't be followed on foot? Just because it isn't a proper road doesn't mean folks can't follow on shore for some or most of it with an occasional detour. I feel like there will be more zombies and bad characters on the roads then on the river and being higher than the river by a foot or so of pontoon, if someone is always on watch, we probably wouldn't be easily attacked. It's just another avenue of perhaps less congested travel. I'm not wed to it if there's a convincing reason to abandon it altogether. With all of us not being able to fit on it, what with gear etc, it might make sense to abandon it. Then there's the matter of staying in contact with shore walkers.

I'm curious to hear @Dr_B's thoughts.

My view is that the pontoon allows for forewarning on an attack, and especially, provides a form of shelter out of the box. People have to swim or float there.
Of course they can snipe us with firearms from the shore, but ranged attack is the only vulnerability.
Foot/car, we are more exposed, and even the found shelters might be unsafe.
I think pontoon until we HAVE to abandon it?

Having the bike on board is a good idea though.

All things are possible until someone messes up! While the road doesn’t run down the length of the river, there is nothing stopping you from following through the woods on foot. It would be slower, of course. But it can be done. You couldn’t drive a car through it, but I’d be willing to have the bikes/motorbike go through there!

It might be best to simply think about your purpose right now. That is… to not be here in an hour or two. For my part, the pontoon offers the best chance of that happening. And walking through the woods, if people feel interested in that.

Once you’ve accomplished not being here when the gang gets here, you really have the whole world to explore!

Simple solution here. Vote in character!

Even if the road doesn't follow the river perhaps it meets up at a bridge. Most bridges serve roads, after all.

Richard has NO mobility dice so it's up to someone else.

Shayna's got NO mobility dice neither.

@Dr_B Am I right in saying you have one stress left to add to that roll? I don’t want to add it in and it come up a one! :D

3XP looks about good! Question 4 could honestly go either way with this river rafting! If not now then definitely next time!

There’s also the Dearly Departed Monologue. Maybe Owen would say something to the dead man?

2. Chased away a bad dude. 1xp
3. Yes: he's a little lecherous. Well maybe a lot, okay? 1xp

5. Morally flexible is his issue - so maybe? He tries to be nurturing toward Owen, yet the addition of the two new gals made him realize he was conflicted. It made an impact on him at least, maybe not the session.
6. No

Yes you are right, Owen still has one stress!
Will add a die to the roll, and try a monologue.

Can you recap how you use experience points in this game, pls?
