A crash. A blur of limbs. The table gave way beneath him.
Lunori’s eyes widened, golden and sharp, his whiskers stiff with alarm. His tail lashed instinctively, seeking balance that had already slipped away. One paw caught the edge of the table—briefly—before the rest of him followed gravity’s pull.
His mouth parted in silent surprise, the world tilting as he fell.
He landed on his back, limbs splayed, breath caught in his chest. His gaze, still wide with disbelief, drifted downward to his own form, as though trying to make sense of how he had ended up there—exposed, unsettled, and very much on the floor.
