The Barracks

Glittlyn spends her first several days becoming familiar with the current fortress organization and needs. However she does not limit herself to merely talking with people but is also seen crawling all over the castle, investigating all the rooms and taking notes on various aspects of the structure. All she talks with soon learn of her grand plans to develop her craft and create a store, that got somewhat derailed when she became trapped here. But she is not letting that stop her and she still plans to start a store, or perhaps find a partner and together start one up. Currently she sees two issues, supplies for the necessities of life and the lack of a civil office where she can file for ownership of an unclaimed room she has found and is making plans for. But she won't say which until she finds someone with enough authority to deny or grant her proprietorship of said location.

Having first spoken with a half-elven woman, dressed in fine clothing, named Kysmae, Glittlyn is later approached by a young human woman, a noble by the cut of her garb and her manner. She introduces herself as Anke. Glittlyn is quick to note the half-elven woman, Kysmae lingering nearby, as well as a living machine: Obviously a bodyguard.

Anke, speaking with a slight accent of one not native to the immediate region of the capital of Calindor, confides that she too is seeking a place to pursue her art as an artificer, as well as, better accommodations than the communal barracks.

Demuk having accidentally or on purpose stepped through a portal. And arrived he knows not where. Gladly accepted the bunk and chest. A place to rest and keep his belongings safe wasn't a bad deal. When he asked what he could do to repay the hospitality. He was sent to Nonian Bragg. The smith/ armorer had a task that needed doing. So was his first moments here.

Steps through a portal while rangering for his village leader. Not knowing how he got here or where here is. He takes a bed and chest at the barracks. The only worse place than a crowded town is a crampy old mining cave. He'd be really mad if he found out they were sending 11 yo girls on quest. He'd probably slaughter every person in charge before the night was through.

Walks in having been hired to test the portal for a king who didn't want to risk his own men. He thought why not. Worst thing that could happen is there'd be no one to kill. He was pleasantly surprised to find the barracks full or throats he can slit, Backs he can stab. And look adventurers to go on. Even one that hired a 11 yo girl... Hmm that could be fun. Stabby stabby kill kill. Yes this place will have lots killing to go round.

Returns having completed a mission. His intended victims yet live. But he did get to kill something and get paid. Now he shall rest and awaken stronger.(Lvl2.)
