Quartercrest Keep

This ancient fort is where everyone who came through the Lilac Veil ended up. This keep has been maintained by the first expedition (the largest one thus far).

Repairs are being made and more lodgings are being built to accommodate for more expeditions since there is no way to contact home.

Not much exploration has been done outside of the keep other than to repair the outer walls. There had been much debating on how they should go about exploring the area. They were about to send out a group until more people began coming out of the portal.

THE SLOSH HOUSE



This bar has everything you could probably want: good food, good company, strong and non-alcoholic beverages.
A fireplace along the wall warms the whole room, including the stage in the corner.


Hugo Dupree



He may seem like a frail old man, but he has the energy and strength of a lion. He hangs an axe from his adventuring days since he decided he should take it easy and run the bar with his wife Alice. Him and his wife were originally the bookkeeper and cook, respectively, of the original expedition. After they arrived at the fort, they decided it was best to set up shop while the rest of the expedition group set up a home base to explore from. He's quick to tell a joke or lend some good advice for your troubles.


Alice Dupree



A kindly old woman, Alice is an old witch who decided after settling in Quartercrest that it was time for her and her husband to relax during their twilight years. Her and her husband have always wanted to run a business. Calling everyone "schweetie" (due to her missing teeth), she dotes on all those younger than herself. Maybe she still has the chops to make a love potion or two.
