Consideration List.
* Learn more about Douglas Henslowe. Very ill. Vivid delusions of murder and an occult cabal?
* Who were the others (who were left behind)? Records of folks reported missing in August '24? No, nothing in the Savannah newspapers for this period. But this apparently occurred in L.A., so somebody might need to check there! Now have several names.
Rumours in locale? Not Savannah, L.A.!
* Do we need to learn more from JWR? Possible survivor and / or member of coterie in a wheelchair.
This will be F.C.Kullman, renowned occultist, deceased.
* Check maps on table. Various higher scales, national and global, for reference.
* Investigate / Visit Douglas' letter addresses:
West Henry Street. This is the Joy Grove Sanatorium. Looks like Douglas was here quite early on, the poor man.
Old Hope Road (from the1933 letters) - Possible Sanatorium? Actually, this is the Henslowe family home, where Douglas returned later. Now, owned by one Virginia Henslowe.
* Where is Douglas' hidden cathartic journal? (9th August 1933.)
Presumably in Savannah, stashed somewhere or other's keeping, witting or otherwise.
* Where is this place where so many may have died? I first made the assumption it was in Georgia, but are there any remnant travel records or bills from around August '24 for Mr. Winston Smith? Notes burned.

* the late Walter Winston received treatment from Dr Eric Hardstrom, Gabriel’s employer and mentor. Can Hardstrom shed any light on the man? result of this line of enquiry here.

-Virginia Henslowe, registered owner of 23 Old Hope Road, the family estate (built 1801 by Jeremiah Henslowe) on Moss Island Peninsula, 13 miles out of Savannah - she is Douglas' mother, not receiving visitors.
-513 West Henry Street - is a sanitorium, the Joy Grove Sanitorium. Its head, Dr Lawrence Teake, is said to be retiring soon, and his protege, Dr Jonathan Keaton, is expected to replace him when he does. Douglas is currently here.

Douglas Henslowe and Edgar Job (both at Joy Grove Sanitorium) share what Dr. Keaton calls a shared psychosis: "they’ve concocted elaborate stories that externalize their fear into some kind of terrible monster"
Something happened to them in Los Angeles on August 13, 1924 - involving gunplay, murder and a fire.
Douglas Henslowe currently under a court order that does not allow him to leave other than on temporary leave to his mother, Virginia Henslowe
