Khel tries to cast a spell, but instead something seems to go wrong and it looks as if Khel is drained (backlash, 1 level of Fatigue)

Then Shalelu lets loose with an arrow that pierces one of the goblins.

They don’t wait long to react though, and three of them swarms around Chigaru and two of them around Grimwulf. The last goblins also rushes forward at Grimwulf, but realizes there is no room for him.

Their attacks are mostly clumsy and unskilled, but they get in a lucky hit on both of them. (Chigaru and Grimwulf shaken)

Sorry this took some time, I fumbled my skill check and mixed up Shalelu and Saldrina in initiative and waited on an action that was already resolved.

Grimwulf and Wess may act. Grimwulf must pass a Sprit roll or spend a bennie to act normally.

Grim furrows his brow at the maul suddenly feeling heavier. Luckily years of soldiering and genetics are able to counteract it. Seething at the feel of losing control of his weapon, he heaves it in a downward arc at the goblin in front of him.

As the goblin's head squishes, Grim can feel his strength return. He looks past the remaining goblin up front and casts a murderous gaze at the shaman in the back, pointing his maul at it, "You!"

Sprinting toward the shaman, he gives a mighty swing once there.

Khel sends another bolt at the closest goblin, this time he succeeds, and it dies in a fiery blast.

Saldrina sends an air blast at one of the goblins, shaking it.

Grimwulf rushes forward and makes a large slice in the warchanter.

The warchief rushes forward at Grimwulf, frenzy in his eyes. With two quick slices he put the hurt on Grimwulf.

With the warchief in cover behind a pillar, Shalelu chooses to fire at the warchanter. The arrow hits him in the side, causing another wound.
OOC:
The warchief has the Frenzy edge, so he has an extra attack. The first did 1 wound, the second will do 3 wounds if Grimwulf is still shaken from the first attack. Otherwise it is 2 wounds.

You can choose to soak one or both attacks.

Wess and Chiagru is up.

Sure, let's use the rules for Pushing. Opposed Strength rolls (though the attacker or defender may roll Athletics instead). If you have a running start (which is achievable from your position) you add +2 to the roll.

Wess knows who is in charge here when he sees him. He heads directly toward the warchief and throws his full momentum at him, trying to bring the goblin down to their level.

Chigaru turns to the goblin north of him and strikes out with a front kick to the sternum. With the green-skinned monster out of the way he will step into its former spot so Saldrina has room to enter.

Chigaru kicks out, and sends another goblin flying, this time towards the throne in the north. It lands with a thud, blood seeping out of a wound in the back of its skull.

One of the remaining goblins is still feeling battle fatigue and it is enough effort to just defend himself, but the other lets out with a wild attack striking Chigaru in the side. (1 wound)

The goblin says some infernal words, and you see light enveloping his wounds, but a sound breaks his concentration and his wounds don’t heal.
OOC:
I rolled a great attack for the yellow goblin before I remembered it was shaken. So that attack is negated. Still, one wound from the other goblin, that can be soaked if you wish.

The warchanter failed his roll to unshake. He spends his last bennie to act as normal.

Will post order for next round in next post.

The goblins are quick to react again, and they keep up their relentless assault of Chigaru. They both hit, but the first attack bounces off Chigaru’s armor. The second hits harder though.

The goblins are acting first, so will update this post soon.

The first goblin don't do enough damage to hurt Chigaru, but the second goblin depends on if Chigaru soaks the damage he got last round. If he soaks it all, he becomes Shaken. If not he takes 1 wound.
