OOC (SoVI)

Okay, so I'm going to copy/paste the whole latest session and that should be enough to get us rolling. Since GP doesn't have a specific Wiki option and I use that pretty heavily I might look at off-site options, and we'll just have role-play and an OOC thread. It seems like I have permission to post as any of your PCs, so please get them up ASAP so that I can rebuild the thread.

I don't love the idea of inline OOC but... I think we're gonna have to work that way. I don't want to be trying to pair up two threads. Shame no one else has realised how awesome TK's fliptiles are :(Anyway, welcome all. We'll be up an running next week.

On an unrelated note, I've had an RTJ already. Adding players is entirely up to you - I'll accommodate as many players as you want. I was pretty clear that we weren't really looking, but he sounded like he could mesh well so I thought I'd ask. Let me know if you'd like to say hi and I'll work out how to make that happen.

It looks like TK is, in fact, down. RIP TK. Is there a setting where we can see each others' characters?

GP allows you to set up subforums (like I've done on WGF). You can put threads of setting info, etc in there. It's not a wiki format, but to be fair neither was TK's. Click on the Administrative Control Panel link on the game forum's main page to access it.

I'm quite happy with the team we have now, but I could also see adding another player if there was a good prospect and broad agreement from the crew.

I think in this case we have a strong core group that all have a similar post rate, so honestly I think the only good reason for fresh blood is novelty. But after 5 years novelty might not be without appeal.

Just need Rahkazar up in some form and I can reinstate the latest thread.

In the meantime, if anyone wanted to know just how damn much we've written... it's a lot.

I would prefer to avoid adding anyone new for all my old reasons. But I wouldn't want to be the one to keep you guys from meeting nice, new people who just want to create. And if we recruit the wrong person and this spells our doom, at least we went the distance.

If I had a vote (and I explicitly don't) I'd say we just moved to a new platform and building momentum again will be hard enough.

I'm at best ambivalent about a new person. It sounds, in fact, like nobody's "excited" about it, which is probably reasonable evidence that we shouldn't.

Hey RHM, I need a Rahkazar to finish reinstating the current thread. No need for a full character sheet, but could apply with her so that I don't need to make an NPC duplicate?

Maybe RHM isn't getting notifications and could use a PM-tickle?

Does GP here send email notifications? I don't think I've ever gotten one. Is there a setting I need to toggle?

There should be a Subscribe button on threads and forums, but I'm having trouble finding it or getting it to work on some of them.

I'll gently nudge. RHM is in one of my groups that uses Discord. I know they've got a lot on their plate right now.
