No, I suppose I should've put more emphasis on it. But Wexley actually said in the very first post that the journey would be very cold. If you have the vp for Cold Weather gear, we can pretend you got that in the beginning. I was never making it a secret the elements would be an obstacle.

We'll wait for damage. Assuming there will be survival checks for people to aid the party.
Edit: Also, do keep in mind. It's a total of ten hours. Maybe 12 if you really milk it, it's non-lethal damage. You're not gonna die... from the cold.

So could have Azote trade some of her trade leathers (10 gp) for cold weather (8 gp) gear early after we met with Wexley instead of trying to weather it with bedroll wrap. LOL.

That is true... I suppose I didn't factor that in... like I said, we can retcon the starting gear a bit. Gonna say no heatstone though. That'd be wildy expensive in Midnight. One vp is roughly equal to seven gp. That'd be approximately 140vp.

Rolled Survival 23 the first time we were asked, and rolled a 15 as my initial Survival roll right before I rolled saves vs cold (3 fails out of 8 rolls).
Does either Survival roll help give each one of the other 5 party members a +2 on saves? I'd prioritize Varin I guess, kinda worried about him?

Don't worry about Varin he will be fine. Even if I roll max damage for all 6 rolls I would heal some of it so it won't KO me.
I feel like grabbing a Heatstone would be cheesing this. If we could get it would be great though.
Varin would chip in some to get it if others want to. I don't have enough to buy it myself.
