FIST

A campaign taking at least a fireteam (4 players) to start that can post on a daily basis [5-6 times a week] in a urban fantasy/sci-modern setting where characters can be super beyond mundanes, as they painfully come to find out, but that doesn't necessarily make them immortal and untouchable.

Recruits have come to find that their so-called work-from-home gigs are a bunch of bunk and aren't netting the sweet six figure income the Tiktoks told them they would get. Running low on resources, the letter from The Joshua Corporation was a literal Godsend. It seems like simple, if bizarre work, and the list of clients they work with are equally bizarre. It involves courier work, traveling and working as mobile security for medical samples - the 'love juice' kind from either side of the equation, and sometimes a good mixture - an embryo package - and bringing between locations; farms, it would seem, or making special delivery like storks. Keeping the cargo safe and making proper delivery is the utmost priority and the company values discretion and the background you have in some of the rougher things you've been involved in, aside from some of the surprising academic achievements. The employment agency making the reference was rough but that's all behind everyone. The Coporation typically prefers first-party.

You can start immediately with your party once you meet them. Good luck on your new journey.

Instead of using unknown Unisystem, I'm going to try FIST (Ultra edition on my end, not sure what's the big difference Ultra and legacy) and see if people would be more open to trying a campaign with a different system or if the idea is just junk.

I have very limited experience with Unisystem, but I'd love to be a part of this.

I believe WitchCraft is available for free on DriveThru, or at least I got it, some years back, and that was a Unisystem book. I can teach the basics pretty easily, and I think there are some open source documents out there that I can link to that take care of the rest for anyone worried about the system. I'm leaning more toward the Cinematic version of the system, as there is very little difference from the two, aside from some Drama power, which I'm probably calling something else. The campaign will reside mostly in theater of the mind until/unless I figure out something more elaborate (suggestions welcome) other than Google Maps, etc. I bet if I drifted toward SWADE, there would be more interest in this, but I think it's a big no for the most part...

I'd like to give this a go if it gets going, I've never played Unisystem but it shouldn't be too hard to pick up - right?

Well, that's two.

To me, it's a fairly straightforward system, d10-based, roll a d10, beat a number to succeed, fairly simple, and multipliers based on equipment on an as-needed basis according to what may be owned. Very ad-hoc sort of. The character is built around Qualities and Drawbacks that define them. There's Metaphysics for magic-like powers and psionics. It's a system that can be custom-built around a lot of player creativity and ingenuity. The campaign gives a lot of freedom to build a character that incorporates ideas a player has for a concept while keeping things balanced in the point cost.
