Prowlers & Paragons: Ultimate Edition
Prowlers & Paragons (P&P) is a cinematic superhero tabletop RPG designed to bring comic book action to life. Whether you're a gritty street-level vigilante or a reality-warping powerhouse, P&P delivers fast, flexible gameplay that emphasizes narrative and flair.

Core Mechanics
P&P uses a dice pool system with six-sided dice (d6). When taking action, a character rolls a number of dice equal to their Attribute + Skill + Power Level. Successes are calculated as follows:

2s and 4s = 1 success
6s = 2 successes

Most actions involve opposed rolls—for example, when an attacker uses a power against a defender.

If the attacker's total successes exceed the defender’s, the difference becomes the damage dealt.

Character Creation
Creating a hero in P&P involves a mix of narrative flavor and mechanical choices:

Hero Concept – Define who your character is and what makes them unique.

Attributes – Distribute points among six core traits:
Agility, Intellect, Might, Perception, Toughness, & Willpower

Skills – Allocate skill points in areas like Athletics, Stealth, Persuasion, Technology, and more.

Powers – Choose and customize superpowers with Enhancements and Limits to fit your concept.

Perks & Flaws – Select advantages and disadvantages to round out your hero's personality and mechanics.

Motivation & Background – Flesh out the character’s story, drive, and origin.

Example of a Character Sheet:

Prowlers & Paragons thrives on action, story, and cinematic gameplay, making it ideal for players who love heroic exploits and fast, flexible rules that support imagination over complexity

One problem we(I) currently have is the dice function doesn't automatically count the score for the points.
I am not a master coder and can't figure it out the Json for it...

I think this is a custom dice tool, I am testing it in a private thread and it does show the result

When I made the macro for Roll20, I changed it up slightly to make it easier to code. Instead of 2 and 4 being a success and 6 being two successes, I had 4 and 5 be one and 6's remained 2. This allowed me to say anything below half was zero and anything above was one, then add one for a max roll.

EDIT: End result had the same probabilities, but was MUCH easier to code. :)

That is actually smart

Although I don't mind manual counting

I fixed it a little. It doesn't count still, but it highlights 2 & 4 and makes 6 green. Hopefully that makes it easier.

We might need to start a standard of Putting the Points Total in OoC like I just did.
OOC:
Roll for Attacking 12d6 = 5 Points
This is the current code if you can figure out how to make it count that would be great! I have no idea.

Could try adding a "Modified" result in each die. 1, 3 and 5 would be 0 while 2 and 4 would be 1 and 6 would be 2. Then see if the Result adds the Modified instead of Natural. But, that's totally guessing. I don't know what the code is looking for.

Still not working. We will just have to manually count until I get the code.

Good Morning.

How are the 2 of you doing?
As of right now you are the only players.
I have tried getting others to no success.

What happened with Regicidal?

They were not a fan of the functionality of the site.
Thought it was too complicated.
Same with aqua

Huh. Well, that sucks. Well, I'm willing to go with 2 for now. If we can find someone to add later, great. In the meantime, we can either scale encounters to the small group or add a couple NPC crew members.

Just exited to learn the game and this campaign seems like something interesting I have never played before

I might start the 1st campaign post tomorrow.
You can still work on sheets and finalize things while we roleplay.
