I wasn't thinking about using any Gritty rules. Do you think we should and which one?

I was about to suggest the same, being slaves in the same settlement and planet was conceding a bit of our backstory but making the team formation much easier

Well, we could try the normal rules for the first few games and as the risk factor increases we could try the gritty rules
