HAH! Sure, let's say he keeps a gaggle of chickens roaming around inside his rock wall. Seems like the thing old Fecky would do.

And a docile squirrel. Yes. He has chickens and a single squirrel.

This group is hilarious!

Hey, just in case there's some confusion, Cat is being sweet on Rolen, not Rava.

I think ada is seeing Rava paying attention to ANYONE else as an attempt to steal her
Jan 5, 2017 11:42 pm
That would be correct Ada doesn't know how to share and since her previous attempt on Cat went unnoticed (posted once about it but too many things happened and let it go) she now secretly upset that she didn't want her

Okay, thanks for posting that. I totally missed that Cat was asking Rolen.

Hi, all! I've fallen ill and myy doctor says I should take the weekend off from work but that sure as heck isn't happening as I have two wedding cakes to finish! So I can't guarantee any posts. If I survive the weekend I'll get back to posting Sunday evening (that's SUnday morning for most of you). Dramasailor please feel free to move Catriona forward in the meantime. Thanks!

Sounds good! I'm travelling home from a business trip today myself. Feel better!

Thanks! I'm back. Still sick, but actually have time to post now. :-)

I'm surprised everyone is ignoring Ada.

I totally missed that post behind the whole shopping scene!
Jan 23, 2017 3:05 pm
I suspected as much. And she spoke up before that, too.
Jan 23, 2017 4:35 pm
Maybe ppl are purposely staying away from her. ;)
Jan 23, 2017 4:37 pm
Well that's always a possibility. Though if that were the case we'd be seeing posts like, "I stay away from Ada. I think she's weird." :-D

Rolen is leading the shopping now so we'll see where this goes.

One day I will use that thing without whammying the entire party. But I forgot to specify so today is not that day.
If you're fast asleep are you affected by charm effects?
Feb 8, 2017 5:25 pm
I have no idea. As far as I know it doesn't say that anywhere.

I'm torn on this. I've been digging around looking for confirmation one way or the other.

As a rule, I treat sleeping individuals as having the Unconscious condition which makes them auto-fail dex/str saves. Also makes attacks against them have advantage and such. That doesn't appear to offer any specific protections or weaknesses to Charm, nor does the Incapacitated condition, which Unconscious automatically imposes.

I would think, per RAW, yes even asleep you are susceptible. If you would prefer, Cosmic, we could rule that this item RAI requires the target creature to be conscious at the time they are meant to be charmed. I leave it to you.

When this came up I went and checked the description of Charm Person: "You attempt to charm a humanoid you can see within range" which I found a but surprising. I always thought the target had to see you for you to charm them but now I see I was mistaken. So yeah by that logic I guess a sleeping creature wouldn't be auto-immune.

I did the same thing Jabes. On the face, a lot of the charm person stuff doesn't make sense if the Charm-ee can't see the Charm-er
Feb 8, 2017 7:29 pm
I'll say the charm efffect doesn't work if they're unconscious.

Good deal!
