SelectiveAmnesia says:
Also sorry to the rest of you for not updating yet this week. Work has been crazy this week. We have started a big new project that means overtime and less slack time while at work. Hopefully it will calm down soon.
No worries mate.

With one player down, and Filgird not posting in a while I'll advertise for a couple of new players.

I'm reading through the Beta Rulebook now, will get a character generated as soon as I can. I appreciate the invite. Looking forward to gaming with your crew.

No problem. Glad to have you here. Mind you, that it may move slow, as work has been busy and now I've gotten the krutacking flu :/

I approved your character. Feel free to roll Vigilance in the game thread and introduce your character.

Looks like a very cool campaign, glad to be a part of it.

Still coming up with a bit of backstory but mechanically I think I'm gtg.

Greetings, can I get an overview of what characters there are before I settle on a career/spec? Originally I was leaning towards a half-orc Natura/Barbarian but a read through suggested that the group has enough meat-shields already.

I've been approved, 'Aery' a wizard bard gnome opted to go with a group of people going to safety to 'watch over them'.

Hi there! I'm playing Butler, a sword and board fighter type....character sheet is here if you want a nosey

On a side note anyone think their powers/abilities are a bit uber/easy to get cheesy with?
Apr 24, 2017 5:08 pm
From what I've read that's the intent, you are starting off as pretty much high powered established heroes and the 'designers' have made no bones about the fact this is a very combat focused mod.

okay... well here's to dropping pipe organs on people and stopping time for extra turns through the power of magic... XD

Thinking that I'll go with the Natura/Barbarian, but incorporating a few elements from my D&D/Pathfinder setting. Nothing major, just enough to give him a few odd quirks and flavor.

A warrior's code and some cultural stuff like that are the kind of things I'm thinking of, I like playing foreigners/outsiders.

Sounds good. Also has a new player in Starkiller, so the game should fill back up before long.

...I did not realize before sitting down how crazy this guy's durability was going to be. He's got a Wound Threshold of 18 and can for a time boost his Soak up to 10. Provided that nothing outrageous happens, he can ignore hits from any weapon that he carries. He is not going down easily.

Character has been submitted, rolling for pocket change.

Hey guys, glad to be part of the campaign. I'm playing a Priest character. I'm new to this system but it looks like it's not the ordinary, "we all suck and will be killing 72,000 slimes to get to level two and upgrade from our wooden sword to a sharpened wooden sword". I like the idea of starting out as someone who can actually do something.

On a side note, noticed that the Priest has Melee as a class skill, but not ranged so I guess I'm going to be doing melee. That's a little odd to me as a former MMO player but I guess it will all shake out in the end.

You can still do ranged combat if you have the weapon it's just not as easy to level up.

That's something I'll have to look at then because as a Priest, I'm not really looking at building a tank type character.
