Well there are a few of those in the group. Spell casting is hindered though by wearing full up armor and shield though. If you have meta questions let us know though.

Oh, I'm glad we have some tanks. I can heal from medium distance, so I don't see much of a need to get up close and maybe get my face torn off. You guys keep me alive and I'll keep you alive.

hehe that all depends on if the GM leaves you alone. XD. I'm going to imply the 'no means no' policy myself and use my quartstaff like a hockey stick, high sticking all day.

A tall, handsome priest putting the last of your Gold into his purse, because he doesn't want you to suffer under the extra weight. He offers to heal you, for a nominal fee. You pat your pockets and find nothing. Your armor is gone, your weapons are gone, everything is gone. You notice your backpack sitting behind the priest. You can see your armor and weapons sticking out of it. The priest smiles at you sadly and tells you that he'd like to help you, but it would set a bad precedent if he helped you for nothing.

Just kidding but yes, get in here. I think we're getting ready to take off.

Hey guys, I'm a new player. I am trying to play a Druid - is that okay with everyone? I won't be a super hippy kind of druid, more like the druid from Shannara Chronicles if anybody has seen that series. How do I go about figuring out my starting gear?

Works for me, Never read/saw the series. Page 19 I think has it at 500 and we rolled 1d100 I think. Games been kind of slow though so you have time.

how slow is slow exactly? Has anybody thought of moving to discord?

No slower than most PbP games. I'm not really interested in playing on another platform as this site is probably the best way I've seen to do PbP games.

slow is as slow as family, work, life coming up and saying deal with me. Sometimes people have time to give a heads up sometimes it's after things die down. I guess if you'd like to try Discord that's an option. unsure for gaming mechanics how that pans out by good luck.

The advantage of PbP is playing with people all across the world. Tried roll20 with a group over in America once, and ended up staying up until 6 o'clock in the morning :P

This one has gone slow lately because work has been piling up.

A Druid would be a welcome addition. I was thinking of timejumping a few days ahead once you are finished with your character, and wait for any major new posts until you are ready to be introduced.

It's hard for me to find time to sit down on a PC and jump in. On discord I can type pretty much whenever, and so my discord pbps usually move pretty quickly.

I'd love to play here, but give me some more time to mull it over, maybe this platform doesn't work for me.

Yeah. Sorry. Work has been crazy busy, I'm in charge of a new project for a new client and have to be finished by end of November. I'll try to get the next post up this weekend.
