The goblin warchanter is hit hard by the bolt, sending him flying through one of the wheels of the cart he’s using as leverage. With the wheel now missing, part of the cart falls down right on top of the body.
The goblin dog looks like a cornered animal all of a sudden. With nowhere to escape to, it lashes out at Butler. Butler dodges it’s clumsy attack easily, getting in an advantageous position.
The group of minions on the ground has started to figure out what’s going on and hesitates for a moment before ganging up on Darakar. Though their attacks are like bites to the big brute, they’re an annoying distraction.
The goblins on the roof takes something out of their pockets, and lights it on fire with their torches. Throwing whatever they are holding with their slings at Aerys, you can see as they land that it’s some crude bomb that explodes.
One of the bombs ends up in a cart filled with Dwarven spirits, and the resulting fireball would be impressive from a greater distance. In mere moments the grass between Aerys and the two close combatants catches fire, seperating the two groups. Moving forward would be dangerous.
OOC:
Spending the 2 threat from the Goblin Dog to give Butler a Blue on his next action.
Group 1 fails, but they give Darakar a Black to his next check, as well as giving a Blue to Minion Group 2’s next check (added retroactively, though it couldn’t have done much in any case.
Group 2 actually succeeds, seems the system here don’t account for the fact that a Triumph counts as 1 success as well as doing something awesome (though this was fixed a while back). That means they have 3 successes - 1 Failure. First off Aerys takes 7 damage.
They spend 1 Triumph creating a wall of fire between the frontal assault and the back support. In addition, they crit Aerys.with their second Triumph. He receives a Sudden Jolt, dropping whatever he’s holding in his hand. Not the most devastating, but still counts as a crit in case of more crits.
