Recap
After being hired as house sitters for Baron Tichronus, our noble band of explorers discovered an egg chamber beneath the study. After a battle against hosts of the creatures and some of the hatched creatures themselves which showed off some of Sekhmet's rage, Dexter Jackson used a cypher to decimate the eggs in the room only to be greeted by a mobile, telepathic statue: The Lily. Also, Draezor killed a woman claiming to be betrothed to Tichronus. The Lily then lead our group through an underground complex to the egg chamber's creator, Devola, a 70 ft worm. Seeing the party as a means to further her own goals, an ultimatum was given: become subjects of her scientific experiments, or destroy the transmitting device that allows virons of the Insidious Choir, a sentient virus interested in domination on a massive scale, to communicate.
When last we left our band of intrepid explorers, they had just accepted Devola's quest, discovered more numenera, and were on their way to the conveyance Devola spoke of.
