Episode 2: Local Heroes

The man turns to you and are about to reply when Ameiko arrives from the kitchen. An apron covering her clothes and a soup ladle in her hand.

She says something in some foreign language. He replies and a heated argument starts than ends with her returning to the common tongue. "Leave my inn this very moment!"

He walks angrily over to her, and tries to grab her her, but she dodges and brains him with her soup ladle.

Her father stands there shocked for a moment until he finds his voice. "You are as dead to me as your mother!" he exclaims as he brushes past Jimmy again.

Ameiko smiles. "No worries. My father has always been like that. He want me to leave town along with him, don't think it's safe with all you brigands loitering about," she replies. "Circular logic. We didn't have goblin problems before you showed up, so he thinks it'll go away if you do. That old what came first debate, adventurers or need for adventurers."

"But seeing as you stood up for me, free fish soup for you," she says moving back to the kitchen.
