Aery tries to keep jooking his attacker and raises a hand into the air a large drum on a stand falls in front of him between him and the skeleton. "No means no!" he yells out before shooting at him with Arcane wizardry No Touchy Electricity. "Bad Undead Skeleton! Bad!"
OOC:
If that hits -9 Damage (-2 Strain for me), if he's still up I'll spend 2 advantage to enable disorient 2 (Tit fo tat!), if he's down I'll use them on regaining strain, I'll spend the last advantage to give the next player a boost die.

Wizard's Bolt Short range

Total: 3 Success, 3 Advantage

SelectiveAmnesia says:

...Three skeletons remaining, two of which is on fire and badly damaged. The one attacking Aery has taken the least amount of punishment so far.
That's because Aery is a dancer, not a fighter. He used to be a lover not a fighter and audiences applauded him wherever he went. Then a lady admirer gave him... applause with... extra clap. He used to be known as (Ladies Love) LL Cool Air but now he's known as (Ladies Avoid) LA Fire Down There. People who know him from back then say that his upright dancing has gotten better than it ever was but his opportunities for other kinds of dancing have taken a hit. Just the rumor mill. Who knows for certain.

A gentlemen never tells... he just buys Gatorade in bulk.

Butler makes another chip into one of the skeletons.
OOC:
Your crit is Discouraging Wound, so one dark side point is flipped to a Light Side Point.

Healing magic emanates from Jimmy and starts to heal Alaric’s wounds.

Aery takes a step back and fires off a blast at the skeleton he’s engaged with. Hitting it hard across the face. So hard the neck breaks and the head hangs on the side. Despite this it is still standing.

The first skelton attacks Butler again, ignoring the fact that he’s still on fire. But Butler parries deftly.

The one in front of Aery closes the distance by moving forward, its head dangling for each step as it attacks. It’s undead claws connecting.

The final remaining skelton also moves to attack Butler, but the fire gets too hot for him and whatever magic keeping the skeleton together crumbles as the skeleton becomes a charred spot.

Father Zanthus gets to his feet with a groan, before striking at the skelton attacking Aerys. But it sidesteps easily.
OOC:
Skeleton 1 vs Butler: Miss
Skelton 3 vs Aery: 8 damage. Using 2 advantage to give Aery a Setback on his next action. 1 Adv. to give the next skelton to act a Boost.
Father Zanthus: 2 Threat to give Father Zanthus a Setback on his next check.

Rolls

Skeleton 1 vs Butler

2 Success, 3 Advantage, 3 Failure, 3 Threat

Total: 1 Failure

Skeleton 3 vs Aery

5 Success, 4 Advantage, 2 Failure, 1 Threat

Total: 3 Success, 3 Advantage

Father Zanthus vs Skeleton 3

1 Advantage, 3 Threat

Total: 2 Threat

I'm attacking the skeleton on Aery. Using my maneuver to move to it.

+1 Boost die from the advantage that Aery passed to me.

1 Setback for the skeleton's melee defense. 3 difficulty instead of 2 for two weapon fighting.
OOC:
Edit: Ok, I have no idea how I wound up with 4 setback dice instead of 1 on that roll. I only clicked the setback die once for the roll but I got 4 for the price of one. That should not have happened...

Anyway, should be 10 damage with Turin, 2 Pierce.

Abelsbrother sent a note to SelectiveAmnesia
GM ruling on that one please?

Attacking with Túrin

6 Success, 4 Advantage, 2 Failure, 7 Threat

Total: 4 Success, 3 Threat

OOC:
The easiest will be to only count the first one. So you get no threat on your roll, but the failure is the one that counts (technically the three last one were the wrong ones).

With one mighty swing Alaric cuts the skeleton to pieces, leaving behind one lonely burning skeleton.
Jun 27, 2017 5:59 pm
Butler steps forward and brings his sword round in a viscous arc at the remaining skeleton
OOC:
maneuver to move up to the skeleton, action to attack

That's 8 damage

With one last mighty swing, Butler hits the skeleton in the head. Sending it flying through the air until his thumps against a gravestone. The rest of the skeleton's body crumbles to the ground. Father Zanthus pants as the danger seems to pass. "I'm glad I brought you friends. I seem to owe you my life once again."
Jun 28, 2017 2:29 pm
"No worries... actually small worries, could I get some healing over here? I seem to be quite injured." Aery states having flopped back first on top of the large drum. He sighed and tried to control his breathing attempting to regain some composure.
OOC:
Let me know a good time to attempt Soothing song since people are probably down on strain.

Butler seems to sag a little, breathing heavily, the battle having taken a lot out of him "Think nothing of it father" he says to the priest

Father Zanthus, let me take a look at your wounds and see if I can tend them better now that the battle is over. Jimmy pulls out his healing kit and examines his fellow Priest's wounds.

Since he's badly wounded, I'm estimating this is a hard difficulty.

Medicine Check to heal Father Zanthus

Jimmy stores his healers kit back in his backpack. He sighs and stretches, relaxing for a moment and gathering himself.

Rolls

Discipline to recover strain at the end of the encounter

3 Success, 1 Advantage

Total: 3 Success, 1 Advantage

OOC:
Aery, are your wounds under 1/2 of your total? The reason I'm asking is because it will make the difference between an easy check and a normal check. Let me know if I need to add a purple.
Feeling better after his brief rest, Jimmy pulls out his healers kit and walks over to examine Aery's wounds.

Alaric pats Butler on the shoulder approvingly. You are a mighty warrior Butler, I am glad that we are on the same side.

"Seems whoever was behind the attack wanted me out of the way, or cause more terror," the prist says once everyone is back on their feet.

Looking into the burial chamber, you can see one of the the sarcophagus has been broken into. The remains inside have been stolen. "That grave used to belong to my predecessor. Someone has stolen his bones." He scratches the top of his head to try and make sense of the situation.
