History

Nespau is a kingdom full of history and wonder. The continent of Aspira used to be united under the benevolent human King Avondis Searano. Avondis had 5 sons: Terrin - the oldest and leader of his army, Avando - the second child and court wizard, Sekent - the third and high priest, Tomas - the fourth and head of the Royal hunters, and finally Pierro - the last born, the only one with a different mother, and the only one with no title. There was 23 years difference between Terrin and Pierro adn 10 between Tomas and Pierro. Pierro was spoiled by his mother and ignored by his father. When Avondis died, his kingdom was divided into 5 parts. Terrin got the region of Ushal, Avando received Abria, Sekent was gifted Ocra, Tomas gained Ushal, and ten year old Pierro was now the ruler of Nespau. For ten years after the death of Avondis, the different regions got along. For those ten years, Pierro was collecting and saving taxes from his subjects at slowly increasing rates every year. Finally, he began building his walls. Pierro surrounded his region with nearly impenetrable walls, separating himself from his brothers. He then sent undercover agents into the other regions and planted seeds of distrust among the royal courts of his brothers, forcing them to go to war with each other. This was 500 years ago. All but the oldest of elves have forgotten this past. Now, King VonDu rules with an iron fist. The halflings are enslaved and his army rules the land. There are pockets of resistance and few towns that have been fully taken. All records of anything outside the walls have been destroyed. Anyone caught doing anything against the crown is jailed and executed. King VonDu does whatever he wants and uses the his full resources to do so.
