Chapter 1: Nightstone

Grabbing her torch, Xed zips down the tunnel, hoping to explore as quickly as possible so she can report back.

Xed quickly becomes confused by the identical-looking tunnels. She picks one at random and runs that way.

Maru looks up and sees that all of her new friends have wandered off deeper into the cave. She picks up the goblin, tucks him under one arm and follows after Xed grumbling something about splitting the party.

Iolgur follows Maru with a crossbow in hands, watching for another ambush.

Qavez is waiting at the mouth of the tunnel with Chanler, listening for Xed's return.

Xed paces in a circle, then hurried down another tunnel.

"The plan was to find and rescue nestor- an elder from the town not too far from here." Chanler states in reply to Maru. "He has grandchildren. I made a promise to bring him back."

"Wait! No, calm down!" Xed takes out a pan flute and starts playing, hoping to make the goblin feel more at ease.

Biting off a few choice curse words at the shriek Xalvador starts to move down the tunnels towards the noise

"Well now that is not something ya hear everyday now is it?" Maru says as she moves forward, goblin tucked under one arm sword at the ready in the other.

Qavez steps aside as the others move forward. "Honestly, I've only met the lass from the night before, but she don't strike me as the type to scream like that." He then smiles at Chanler and follows the group heading into the tunnel.

"Yeah.." Chanler says in reply, as he follows Qavez and the rest of the party.

"More goblins. Good. I thought fun was over." Iolgur loads a heavy bolt into his crossbow and follows Maru as fast as his dwarf legs can carry him.

Iolgur aims his crossbow right between old goblin's eyes. "Well? Does anyone have any justice for this one, or should I just kill the damned creature?"
