Chapter 1: Nightstone

"There's probably more goblins ahead." Chanler replies to Maru. With a nod in her direction, he braces up against a wall and prepares for her to pull the arrow free.

Iolgur waves his torch in front of him as he retreats with the rest of the party.

Maru removes the arrow and then hands it back to Chanler, assuming he wants to keep it as a memento.

"Thanks." Chanler mutters as he awkwardly takes the arrow. "So where are the people?" He says, directed toward the elderly goblin.

"So now what? Are we leaving? I think the old guy's invisible or something. Or maybe he got lost?"

"Well, we can't leave without Nestor. If this is where they keep their captives i think this is our best bet. Probably best to step lightly though. Don't want those bats returning."

"There are a lot of tunnels we haven't checked, too," says Qavez. "Maybe that ol' goblin was leading us into a trap?"

"It would probably be prudent to expect an ambush at every turn in these caverns" Xalvador muses to the others "That said we should press on, if this Nestor is in need of assistance in here then a delay only puts him at more peril"

"Exactly." Chanler says in reply. "I'd love to rest at this point but we need to keep going."

Maru says that to her new friends, translating word for word.

"Are the bats still here? What about us?" Xed squints up at the ceiling.

"There couldn't be just the goblins we saw. Maru, ask the greenskin about his kin. Where did they go? Did they take anyone with them?"
