Playbooks and Basic Rules (PDF)

Blank Character Sheets
Google Docs Template

The character creation rules are on each of the PDF playbooks linked above.

None of the normal playbooks are banned, but no duplicates. Choose from the Aware, Hunter, Veteran, Vamp, Ghost, Wolf, Oracle, Wizard, Fae or Tainted with impunity. If you want to play the Scholar, Revenant, Hallowed or Vessal from the Dark Streets book, I'll walk people through them.

For those new to PBtA, the Moves (both basic and the ones specific to your playbook) are both descriptive and prescriptive; you roll for them when you're trying to do the thing, and not much at any other time.

The primary stats are Blood (violence and escaping), Heart (social persuasion), Mind (perception and deception) and Spirit (emotional control and supernatural power). Everyone is also a member of a Faction and will have debts (or be in debt) to other players and NPCs in the setting which are key elements of the social politicking that will take place.

Note, just because you're in the same Faction as someone it doesn't mean you like them; just that you know their faction's habits. Vampires and Werewolves are both Night factions and are generally always at each other's throats (puns intended). And naturally, just cause you're the only Vamp in the group, you won't be the only Vamp in the City.

Custom character sheets as normal (boo. No pbta sheet for Gamers Plane)
