On the other hand, I really don't ever buy anything for myself. Hell, I've been looking at PC parts for the last 6 months and still haven't gotten anything, even with a failing monitor and hard drive, and an OLD video card. The best way for me to not do it is ignore it... once I forget, I won't find it again until it's over :p

$30 USD for high quality dice is not a bad price. Metal dice that don't look half as cool as those luminous dice can go for $40 USD

I'm sure you can make your own flow chart with "Can I afford them? ---> yes/no..."

That's why I don't mind the price-point on it's own. But given it's the creators first project, its up there for a KS.

Not sure how your target dice would fair by his standards.

If you want to buy them to help out the starter so he could possible start making these more than one run I guess go for it. Don't know how long the glowing resin will last (Will they be really expensive dice next year that just look pretty). With KS you aren't sure if they'll be on time, will have imperfections, or if you're get it at all. I'd figure out if you just want Pretty dice what your alternative options are for $30.
