The frost that seems to form out of nowhere freezes on the guards armor, leaving it cold but I damaged.

The first masked rogue looses an arrow at the king.

With the arrow piercing through the king’s neck, the king falls to the ground.

Zadok you’re next.

Zadok roared with fury as he charged toward the masked rogue that fired the arrow at the king and swung his battleaxe at him.

At this point, all of the civilians have cleared the main battleground.

There is one BM Guard left, engaged with Miles. The BM Wizard is still 100’ from the stage. The gnoll is unengaged, as is the second rogue. The first rogue is engaged with Zadok. The other 3 PCs are still on stage and unengaged.

The last BM Guard swings at Miles.
The Wizard moves forward 20’ and casts sleep on the stage.

Everyone on stage falls asleep, except Lyss, whose fey ancestry shakes it off.

The guards sword misses and Miles strikes back.

Miles blade strikes true, killing the last Guard.

Lyss’s arrow strikes true, but the rogue remains standing.

Nicolas is asleep.

The King is unconscious.

The Bravo team moves toward the untouched rogue and 2 manage to get into an attack position, but miss their attacks.

The gnoll moves forward and attacks Miles, forcing him to fall.

Rogue 2 attacks one of the guards, killing him.

Lyss's arrow snaps in half as she releases it.

The gnoll moves toward Zadok and strikes him with the butt of his great axe, trying to knock him out. The butt hits Zadok on the head and he crumbles.

The two masked rogues draw their bows and move closer to Lyss. You can see that these arrows have a flat head on them, meant for non-lethal damage. Both loose their arrows. Both arrows strike true and Lyss, the last remaining guard, falls into the blackness.

The four of you awaken, sore and bruised, but alive, surprisingly to you. You look around the poor light and see that you are all in individual cages, in some sort of torture chamber. Outside of your cells, you see the King and Miles on individual tables, chained down. You also notice the wizard, now you can see she is a female and the gnoll, both with black masks on. As you begin to stir, the woman's voice rings out Good morning, children.

I groan and attempt to sit straight, while massaging my temples.

— Well, at least part 'You will see new things' was truthful... It's definetly a first; I lean back on to the cage's bars and quickly check my pockets and some less conspicious hiding places in my clothes.
