Awesome! Really looks like we're headed towards Hunters vs Demons and I'm getting excited. Please feel free to voice opposition and we'll work it out so everyone is happy (ish)

I've also added a subforum for each player. You should only be able to see yours and you should see an OOC chat thread in it just for us. Let me know if you don't see it or see someone else's.

Do people already have preferences about being Hunter or hunted/Demon?

That could be fun...they wouldn't have to adhere to the exact rules either. Just be vampy or wolfy enogh to pass.

But on the question of which side I'd like to play...that is a tough call. Both sides have their benefits. But I voted earlier for playing the prey side of things, so that would still be my preferred side. I am still willing to be on the hunter side if need be for the sake of numbers.

Just for super-clarification, are we playing with the nWOD, Hunter : The Vigil?

I'm quite fine on either side, I just came up with a good demon concept first. So if someone wants to or needs to switch, feel free to take my spot. I like the playing the underdog as much as I like playing a baddie >:)

I don't know if it is accurate to call one side of this conflict the "baddies" per se. It is more a matter of perspective.

The Demons think they know what is best for humanity and has to try and achieve that without the forces of Heaven noticing before it is to late. That is except for those Demons who just want to harvest what they need from humans.

The Hunters...well, some of them probably think they want Heaven to stay in charge, they think they know what Heaven really wants for them. But a lot of them want humanity to be left alone, to evolve, grow, and learn without outsiders telling them what to do.

Yeah. Good and Bad are not super clear cut all the time

Yeah, yeah, subjective morality and all that. Pick a side! :P ... But I could definitely see some cool stuff on the side of the humans wherein the ends may not justify the means of their actions, perhaps Heaven isn't 100% altruistic or the big picture actions are not lining up with their small-time actions.
Reading up on the demon side, there are chances for redemption and whether or not each Fallen's motivations fall in line with the divine scheme. I am very much looking forward to seeing how it all turns out.

Alright folks. At some point this weekend, I'll also be making Hunter & Demon specific subforum for those groups. So try to make your final determinations about which group you want to be in.

Heya. I'd love to play a Demon. I bought Demon: The Fallen about 15 years ago and it remains relatively uncracked.

However, for disclosure, my copy of Hunter: The Reckoning is also virginal, so that would be cool, too.
