All 3 hit and then duck behind cover to hide once again. Our heroes are looking rough.
OOC:
Man, sorry guys..this is turning into a hellish first encounter.

EVeryone is up now...Rivak, Rivas and Thrune get their first turn and Nikos and Ruby get their next round as we hit the top of the order.
Everyone can see G4...G1 is visible to everyone except Ruby.

Rolls

I feel like this is the objectively worst time to point this out but... I noticed Rivas has d12 hit dice. Paladins have d10.

On the other hand, I don't think we're coming out of this.

Quick question before I take my action though: I realize I acted without knowing where G3 was just there, sorry. If Nikos moves next to them, would it be similarly assumed she discovers them? And would she be able to do so based on knowing they were there prior? Basically, can she reach G2, based on the assumption it's still there, and attack?

"Craven beasts!" Thrune bellows in Undercommon., using one of his clan's lowest insults. He runs behind Nikos.

He says to her,"It's Thrune. Let me help." Instantly she starts feeling better from a Cure Wounds spell.

Rolls

Healing from Cure Wounds - (1d8+2)

(2) + 2 = 4

I stated that if you run the goblins down you can spot them...just that you needed a perception check to spot them from a distance due them hiding.

And I'm not sure what you are looking at for the hit die as I have Rivas listed with 12hp max.

OOC:
Right, thanks. Thought I'd acted out of turn and you'd just rolled with it.

And that's weird. I'm looking at the spreadsheet, but it says he has 15 Max and d12 Hit Die.

WHOOPS I was mixing up Rivas and Rizak's row, ignore me XD

Rizak quickly drops himself by the mound where one of the goblins popped out of. I the attempts he can catch one by surprise.

As he leans up against the mound he cautiously takes the arrows out of his now riddled body.

Bloodied and cursing herself for it, Nikos supports herself on her blade, half her face covered in blood from a gash opened by the latest arrow. She is just about to blindly charge at the first target she sees when she feels a soothing warmth spread throughout her, beginning to repair the worst of her wounds. She is still battered, but turns to Thrune with a worn nod of appreciation.

With her head back in the fight, she raises her sword over her shoulder again and lunges towards the mound south of her, roaring as she drags her blade along the ground behind her, giving off a horrific screech of tortured metal. The moment her target comes into view, she heaves the weapon upwards in a single swing.

Nikos's Greatsword comes down with great power but hits only the ground as the goblin manages to scoot just out of the way of it.

"Leave them Alone!" Ruby shouts to the goblins, her hands start to crackle with energy. Shoving them forward as if to push an invisible object she shoots forth a ball of energy from her hands.

OOC:
Rivas does have a d10 hitdie. He also has a +2 con modifier. That's why he has 12 max hp.
Rivas immediately fights the urge to charge into battle. The desire to repay these creatures almost entirely overwhelming his ability to think strategically. With a calming breath, he pulls the shafts from his body, lays his hand over the wound, and with a low muttering appeal to the Red Lady, watches the worse of them close before his eyes.

With a renewed sense of stability, his head snaps up, eyes levelled on his enemy, and marches directly toward the nearest with his massive greatsword swishing back and forth in anticipation of hewing the beast's head from its shoulders.
OOC:
Lay on Hands: 5 hp
Move: 25' east to close within melee of G1
Oct 9, 2018 2:04 am
The bolt strikes the goblin and the acid slowly burns away the skin on its face as it gurgles it’s last breath.

With enemies in melee range of them both, and having seen two of thier breathren cut down. G1 and G2 both disengage to create space from their and make a break for the cave exit.

"Stop them! They may warn others!" Thrune yells as he moves to get a direct shot at one of the goblins.
OOC:
Thrune moves up 3 squares to be directly in line with Goblin #1.
Thrune stretches his left arm in the goblin's direction, fingers outstretched, then closes his hand into a fist. "Flame on!" Out of nowhere, flames descend up the goblin.
OOC:
Thrune is using the cantrip "Sacred Flame" at Goblin #1.

Rolls

Radiant damage from Sacred Flame - (1d8)

(6) = 6

Oct 9, 2018 5:49 am
Ruby whistles a single quiet note out past the goblins, creating a horrifying screech not unlike a hydra, and backs up in case they decide to take any parting shots.
OOC:
Minor illusion. I would like the sound to originate at max distance (30 feet), the goal is to get them running back in the cave. DC 13 investigation. Whether it works or not move 25ft East.

OOC:
I was looking at Thrune's character sheet and he has the Disciple of Life feature (PHB p60). I'm sorry -- I completely forgot about it. Nikos should have received 3 more points of healing because of that.
Oct 9, 2018 8:47 am
"Fie!" Nikos says as her blade crashes down just short of the goblin, which promptly sees its opportunity and flees. Swiftly, she breaks out into a sprint as she hears Thrune calling to catch them, and runs after them.

Bás grits his teeth as the goblin flees. Spinning on his heel, he launched himself after his escaping target.
OOC:
Move: Dash to follow G1.

Also - In an effort to keep things less confusing, I'll be I have changinged my character's name. It might be slightly disruptive at first but should prove less confusing in the long run.
