The group heads back to Parnast to lick their wounds for a bit before heading out after the location of the second hoard.
As you ready yourselves to leave Ruby finds you to let you know that she will not be able to continue the journey with you. She had received notice from back home that an urgent matter calls for her attention. She wishes you luck and bids you fairwell. The clues in Veradda Stoor's notes lead you to the a field of pure stone in the central park of the Greypeak range. There you are directed a pyramid of boulders the cache is said to be hidden within.
In the distance, at the base of two of the massive Greypeak Mountains in the central range, you see a large pyramid comprised totally of boulders. The structure is at least 60 feet high, and from this distance it looks as though there might be an opening at the top.
Between you and the base of the boulder pyramid is a solid stone field. The field is flat and smooth with a slight upward incline, but in places the stone is rent with deep gouges – so deep that it is impossible to tell how deep the gouges go. Even the widest gouge is less than 3 feet wide and easy to cross if care is used.

Somebox has decided to leave the game for the time being at the least...If you are still paying attention and wish to track it...Ruby receives 1 ACP and 1 TCP....technically everyone does but I am holding off on awarding until the end of the module. In the distance, at the base of two of the massive Greypeak Mountains in the central range, you see a large pyramid comprised totally of boulders. "Well, that doesn't seem foreboding at all..." Nikos sighs as they approach. "Did Stoor's notes say anything else about this place?"

May I suggest we go up single file, 20 feet apart, in whatever order you desire. I want to go last to help anyone that may need it.

Any info on the History roll regarding Cloud Giants?Nov 6, 2018 3:26 am
Thrune suddenly remembers a couple lines from Veradda Stoor's notes. "Everyone, Veradda noted that this place 'was once rent with volcanic activity, making the flat stone field difficult to navigate.'" I have suspicions of flames or gases rising from the holes in the ground."DM edit - added perception check
OOC:
FYI, I also updated my memorized spells earlier since we had a long rest.Rolls

They get the drop on everyone except for Thrune who was suspicious of the gouges for other reasons, I gave him advantage on a perception check...Passive DC was 13Rolling Initiative, then the Thrune will get to go in round 1 along with the Badgers...not a good situation for Rizak, have to be honest.

Badgers? We don't need no stinkin' badgers! The link above goes to the first cache map so I'm assuming Thrune is in range for a Sacred Flame.

The giant Badger is unaffected by Thrunes divine attack. The group of badgers seem to converge upon Rizak, moving carefully across the gourges towards their target.
One reaches him and makes two attacks, one with his bite and another with his claw
