OOC:
Okay, well we could keep that.
"Well, anyways, we still have those 7 protective vests we could sell. No objections to that? I do believe we all already own one..."

"Not unless one of you is secretly a seamstress and could fashion a full suit out of 'em."

You gather the gear you are thinking of selling and make your way down to the market. On the way, leaving the casino area, you retrieve your weapons from the security bots.

The market area is a bit more 'rough and tumble' than the casino district. Food stalls selling questionable alien foods, merchants hawking strange objects, seedy looking shoppers who eye everyone carefully. It feels good to be reunited with your blasters and blades.

You come across "Pav Bhaji's Junk You Need" a large stall with all sorts of engineering gear, space suits, etc. A sign says "Trade for cash, 1/2 price. Store Credit 3/4 price." A Skal'az merchant in a rubber apron, sporting a cyber-eye and thick glasses with multiple swing out lenses smiles a toothy grin at you as you approach.

(OCC: Here you can sell at half listed price or trade for 3/4 listed price. He has everything in the book non-weapon wise).

Hotwire rubs his hands together gleefully. "Now this is what I'm talking about!!!"
Feb 11, 2016 4:06 pm
"Well, since we intend on buying stuff, how about we go for the 3/4 trade in store credits instead? I'm looking forward to get some improvements for my laptops anyways..."
OOC:
Selling the 7 protective vests would give us 210 store credits, divided by 4 crew members, that's 52.5 credits each, which I'm not sure is possible, so 2 people would get 52 store credits and 2 people would get 53. I'm okay with only getting 52...

"I agree. I'm looking to score some upgrades for my helmet scanners as well. I don't know if I'll find anything within budget though. And fat chance of affording any cool stuff for the Ronin."
Feb 11, 2016 4:39 pm
OOC:
As I don't really need much equipment you can use my part to improve the ship's targeting system
Feb 11, 2016 4:41 pm
"You have a faulty sensor helmet on the Ronin you could fix..."
OOC:
With his part of the loot, S'skaar will have bought a sensor helmet w/respiratory filters & HUD visor, Developer Programs & Hacker Software for his laptop, 2x Antidotes, 3x S.T.I.L.L.s, 2x Medi Packs, 2x Heal Gum, and 1x Stabiliza.

OOC:
At least buy some S.T.I.L.L.s or Heal Gums or Stabiliza... ;)

OOC:
I have 8 stills, some cigars and my natural regeneration. I think I'm good for now :)
Feb 11, 2016 5:07 pm
Pav looks at the big Borgoz - "Hey big burly man, how about some Payne? Make you better fighter! You can handle the rest, you Borgoz! You heal!" he says, holding up some little pills.
OOC:
Payne: -1 HP / round. +1 to Melee Attack for d20 rounds. 10 cred/ dose.

OOC:
Maybe some better armor? I don't know what you wear; your character sheet in the Crew Roster thread doesn't seem to be up to date...

So you are making your purchases when you are approached by a human male wearing worn looking coveralls.

"I'm looking for a crew who can get things done." He says, looking around carefully.

Behind him is another man with a shaved head and yellow shirt. Beside him is a white canine.
Feb 12, 2016 3:27 pm
"You've come to the right crew my friend. What can we do for you?"

Hotwire is still too busy drooling over all the junk in the shop to pay the newcomers any notice.

I am looking for a group to liberate scores of fellow miners who are slaved by the Empire, being forced to mine Talium day and night for the Empire's war machine. I have already recruited this warrior, but this operation will need more - people like yourselves.

S'skaar knows that talium is an explosive substance that is mined in solid form and refined into a highly volatile liquid, used for fuel and making explosives.

OOC:
Is that Tchok's dog, or does it belong to our new employer?
Feb 12, 2016 7:08 pm
OOC:
Awesome! Tchok will frequently refer to him as "Soopy" or "Suple", an homage to Tchok's grappling background, and possibly limited vocabulary/imagination.

"Hmm, I was hoping we'd lay low from the empire for a while since we gave 'em a bit of a bloody nose with that station we blew up, but hey, beggars can't be choosers... Who know, maybe we'll have the opportunity to get our hands on some Talium as well... Very well, tell us more my dear friend..."
