This map should give an idea of the positions of the various participants in this scene. It is not possible to reach the Mothman or Myrneth without passing within the Brumelurk's reach. Consider the Brumelurks nearby and everyone else, including the prone girl as far away.

Banging his mace off his shield several times his march turns to a sprint as he rushes one of the tatters men (Brumelurk 1) to attack him.

A glancing blow doesn't even cause the Brumelurk to miss a step as he continues to shamble forward, his shambling female companion only a few steps behind him.

Domitius thrust his hands out at the mob of opponents and a bolt of black energy erupted from his fingertips and lanced through the misty air.

The flaming skeleton unsheathed a scimitar and it boldly waded into the fray alongside Xanxus.
OOC:
Domitius' spell attacks whichever opponent has the fewest hit points.

The skeleton takes 1pt damage due to the nat odd attack roll.

The skeleton nicks the bodice of the female Brumelurk but draws more thread than blood with his scimitar. Domitius' spell seems to fall flat as soon as the words leave his mouth, leaving an inkblot style scorch on the flagstones in front of the bemused Brumelurk.

You are aware of Myrneth yelling some kind of incantation over the angry roaring of the Moth thing. An arrow of clear liquid shoots towards the dusty winged fiend.

The Moth man yelps in agony as his left wing is splashed with the clear liquid and smoke seems to pour almost immediately from the area of contact. As he watches helplessly, a hole appears in his wing as he screams in rage.

The effort appears to have been too much for Myrneth though as his eyes roll back in his head and he performs a limp pirouette on the spot before collapsing in a heap, breathing but unaware.

A mass of writhing tentacles erupts from the man in the strange suit and helm, reaching out to thrash the brumelurks.

The tentacles are an impressive sight and you sense a momentary pause in proceedings as all combatants, on both sides, stare in astonishment.

Unfortunately, the tentacles appear to be operated by a slightly drunk denizen of another world and do little more than flail at the air, cooling down the overheated Brumelurk.

Thanks - am OK for the time being. Weekends are tricky so might be slower then but OK for now.
Elke takes a step back from the man in the odd suit and the emerging tentacles. She's not quite sure what's more frightening, that or the emerging creatures. A glance towards Myrenth doesn't show whether he's survived the attack but it's not looking good for him. Will she hear the whispering soon, she wonders?

She lunges towards the Brumelurk, a loud growl emerging from her throat and her arms heavy with rage.

The Brumelurk dodges out of the way as Elke barrels towards him. Elke only just manages to regain her footing before she collides with the female Brumelurk who is following close behind.

For future reference, can you all specify which Brumelurk you are attacking
Brumelurk 1 - Male - nearest the party in the battlemap I posted
Brumelurk 2 - Female - slightly behind the first Brumelurk on the map

Or you can give them pseudonyms if you like. How does Kanye and Kim grab you?

The Mothman rears up and roars, then steps over the prone Myrneth and moves forward to back up the Brumelurks.
