XP Award Tracking (and spending if you want)

Given the holiday season and a quieter month -- +5 XP to all players.

Feb 1 we will roll conflict (which at the moment I'm having you roll every 3 months).

I spent 20 XP to go up a rank in Stealth 3 to 4.

Ok could everyone roll a 1d10 for Conflict?

Also - +5 XP for January at this point to all players.

Ok. Mechanically - please take your conflict roll, subtract any conflict (I think Zara is the only one?) and add it to your Morality score. I'll try and do a better job using this mechanic in the future.

It's really just a complicated mechanic to use. You can even feel like you're forcing artificial situations on the players at times, if you try to create Morality situations. In the end, it's just the easiest mechanic (out of Obligation and Duty) for players to exert control over.

yah -- I don't love it. it seems to suggest I should be throwing a bunch of potential angst your way. or tossing conflict at Venzo for being a hot-head, which might be appropriate from an RP-ish point of view, but feels like a punishment ("oo. bad venzo for being such a fussy Potter, take some conflict"). I'll think on how to make decent use of it....

Spending 15 xp to gain two ranks in Parry.

I learned a valuable lesson in how valuable that is recently!
