Waterdeep is one of the most famous cities in Faerun, attractive to adventurers and merchants. Located on the Sword Coast it is a beautiful city in a spectacular location. But for all its wealth and affluence, like any economy, there are the unfortunate who struggle to survive.

You are an orphan in Waterdeep, but it isn't all bad. You have a roof over your head courtesy of the orphanage, and many friends... Albeit also orphans. Days are routine, but you have skills. You are motivated, you enjoy adventure, and indeed Waterdeep is an active city with much to explore.
