Descent [ EDIT ]

This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.

Descent is going to take place in the home-brewed world of Auwra. Players would either be members of the Explorer's Guild or freelance/contractors as they begin to explore the depths beneath the world's surface, long abandoned by the Dwarves for the dangers that made it uninhabitable. Within is bound to be some of the most valuable treasure, the most strange magics, and the most ancient discoveries that the world has ever known. It will also be the most dangerous venture the Explorer's Guild has ever undertaken.

Expect a home-brewed story that focuses on the dark unknown beneath the surface, unique creatures both hostile and friendly, strange locations, one-of-a-kind treasures, traps and horror!

Character Generation Info

27 pt Standard Point Buy, using the chart on page 13 of the PHB.

PM a backstory if you'd like. I will use them for story purposes. If you don't want to, I won't force you.

All official races and classes are allowed, including those in the Unearthed Arcana published by WotC as well as the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide (though this may require some reworking to make it fit Auwra). This remains up to GM discretion, in case there's something that I haven't seen that looks unacceptable. However, nothing from the Eberron Unearthed Arcana is allowed.
