Adventures in Middle Earth [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
Adventures in Middle Earth is now out and about. This is an adaptation of the One Ring ruleset into the Open Gaming License (built around the D&D 5E rules). I'm running a One Ring campaign here, and would like to try running AiME in an effort to compare how Tolkein's world holds up with each gaming system (and see what I prefer).
We will start out with AiME-ized versions of the beginner adventure from the One Ring source material and then begin to work our way through Tales of the Wilderland.
---
Players will be Adventurers around 2946 - five years after the fall of the dragon, Smaug. The Wilderland -- the areas around Mirkwood -- have calmed considerably since the Battle of Five Armies and increased trade and prosperity embrace the People of the North. However, the Enemy has many irons in the fire -- and plans. And so the reprieve from Darkness may not be longlived.
