Secrets and Swashbuckling [ EDIT ]
This game has been retired! That means it's no longer being run.
You are a brand new crew member of an up and coming pirate ship, well y'all made your first haul at least... the cargo of this recently mutinied ship! Now all there is left to do is come up with a name for the ship, pick a captain, find a way to sell stolen goods without raising suspicion from the King's army, all while advancing your own goals and avoiding a knife being driven into your back. Easy!

Start at 3rd level, standard array or 4d6 drop lowest for all stats. You also start with a feat.
You will need these important aspects as well;
Goal: the thing that anybody could tell your character is aiming for, a definition of what success would be to your character. Short term, will change throughout play.
Flaw: the thing that keeps getting in the way of your goals, also subject to change throughout play
Secret Goal: You can PM me this, it's the true thing you want, and that you generally don't want anyone else to realize. A big picture goal for your character, will only change if you succeed or if something major changes you
Another Character's Dark Secret: I will PM you another player's character, and you will have to come up with something (we can discuss back and forth through PMs) terrible about that Character's past, or something that character really doesn't want anyone else to know about. It will generally be something that you can use against them. I will then PM the other player this secret, without telling them who knows about it. Then it's up to you guys to figure out how to deal with these secrets. Would you blackmail someone to get what you want? Maybe that won't be such a good idea to paint such a large target on your back. Maybe you will try to find who knows your secret so you can strike first.
