Isn't Garth a forge cleric? Does he not have any insight into how to break metal? Perhaps Heat Metal - then cool it - heat - cool - until it becomes brittle?

Magic metal. I have no clue how it would work. Plus, that is a lot of heat. Easier just to unhook the chains I think.

Mavis has proficiency in thieves’ tools - not expertise. She can try, but four successes seems unlikely.

Honestly I was expecting a much harder encounter too. I'm glad that battles over but bittersweet to see Hasan go back to being the town guard.

I had been worried that she was too tough, and thought about scaling her back a bit. Nothing to worry about, apparently, haha.
