So, an introductory post then...

I have been playing pen&paper RPGs for *counts on fingers* nigh on thirty years now.

Now, I love games in general, card games, board games, miniature games, various kinds of video games...
But when somebody explained the basic concept of a real RPG to me, I just though it was the most awesome thing ever.

I have played an awful lot of the old WEG StarWars D6 game, Call Of Cthulhu, various iterations of D&D, The Dark Eye (which was the only game in town around here when I started), Vampire The Masquerade, Legends Of The 5 Rings, Exalted...

I have dabbled in play-by-post before, but it that's been a while, and I was looking to get back into that...

Well, the Dutch translation of it anyway... mostly set in other worlds because nobody had bothered to translate the setting as well and none of us knew enough German.

The french version of this game was my introduction to pen and paper RPGs.
