Forgot to introduce myself!

My last experience with RPGs was tabletop AD&D 2e and Star Wars 1e, many many years ago. So this is my first foray into the world of PbP, and I must say, I don't think I could have been referred to a much better place than here.

I'm hoping to get back into D&D with the new 5e rules. This community seems like a wonderful place and it warms my heart to see the amount of care and consideration given by Keleth and company.

I retain all my WEG Star Wars books that I recently accumulated to consider getting my youngish kids into pen and paper RPGs (10 and 6). While the FFG stuff is pretty interesting and well built (I think) it's complicated and I remember the WEG side being more cinematic and somewhat crazy. We had fun back in the day.. and that was sadly far too long ago.
