Can't accept player to game

I'm trying to accept a player in the game here. The pop up it gives me all I can see is "Don't peak" and can't actually accept or reject the player (Trying to accept Naatkinson).

As a follow-on to this, I've tried rejecting the other three on that list and it gives me the same error.

It sounds like you're not logged in. I use Chrome, and I've occasionally been logged out. If I don't log back into Chrome, I have to manually enter the passwords to websites.

I'll try a log off log in to see if it clears anything.

Did a log off, cache refresh, and logged back in. Issue persists. :) good thought though.

Every time I've gotten the "Don't peak" error it was because I was accidentally logged out, so I figured it was worth a shot.

Clearly Naatkinson has exceeded an internal limit for how many games a single user can run / join.

That and the sheer volume of his notifications caused Google to spamify GP

Hey! I'm not in the most games of all. My only crown is GMing the most games (I think). Also, I don't get notifications by email :-P

Hey Keleth, just another check in on this. If possible, you can also just assign Naat to the game so we can proceed, if it will be much longer to root cause. :)

Did a quick test with both falconloft and blacknightrising90's applications. It won't allow accept/reject of them either.

I have accepted someone to this game in the past (lenpelletier), so sometime between those two points it changed.

Bah, no, I added a fix, but apparently it broke more... ok, back to the start...

Hey, I'm really sorry, this fell to the wayside again. What I'll do is tonight I'll manually put him in the game, and this will be my primary focus to resolve from tonight on.

Further to this, CESN cannot post in game. They say they get a message saying "You do not have permission to post in this thread."

Edit: Moonbeam cannot, either.

Once you intervened and they could enter the game, neither CESN nor Moonbeam could actually post. They got notifications and what have you, but posting was disabled. Moonbeam has since left out of frustration.

Is there something weird where some permission is not getting set?

I can confirm that I do see everything that happens, but can't interfere :D

Oh, sorry, that was my mistake, I missed this thread. I'll fix CESN's settings at least.

It sounds to me like there's more needed than just fixing a particular member's settings. If you just fix things for CESN, it means that no one else will be able to join without the same obstacle, doesn't it?

This problem was caused by me trying to manually accept you two into the games, and missing setting some stuff in the process. I haven't yet figured out why this game has trouble accepting some people while other games don't, so I don't think it'll extend too far.

There seems to be an issue with accepting players that are invited by the second GM in a game, I think.

Yes, that's what I was getting at. I think that until whatever underlying issue with that is resolved, every new player will be stuck looking at threads they have no permissions to until someone fiddles with their settings.

Sorry for being unclear. Whatever the issue is with the second GM, which I'm trying to figure out, the problem here was by my manual intervention. I can make sure not to make the same mistake next time.

Okay, they accepted and seem to be in the game. I've asked them to post to test that hidden setting worked, too.

Hi Keleth, three more writer want into the Writers' Workshop, but I can't approve them (clicking that gives me a difficult to read 403 error inside a confirmation text box).

Is there a way to give me full GM rights?
